  1. Past hour
  2. Darnold improved a lot after spending a year off learning under Kyle Shanahan.
  3. Tried to say it back in the day, but nobody would listen. That game against Minnesota where he put the entire team on his back and brought us within a whisker of making a massive comeback showed who he really could be. But we weren't there as a team and certainly didn't have the coaching staff in place. Now, we might well be looking down the same gun barrel with Bryce. But no one wants to hear that either.
  4. Today
  5. Darnold has progressed in ways nobody here would have expected. But at the end of the day he has always had all the physical gifts necessary to become one of the better QB's in the league. That's why the Jets gambled on him in the draft. I think he's going to end up the tier of QB like a Kirk Cousins where he will put up good numbers in the regular season and then come back to reality in the postseason.
  6. I never got the rush to move on from Darnold. They had already picked up his 5th yr so they had to pay anyway then to get Baker so late made no sense to me at the time Darnold just needed a chance to grow in a stable environment and I'm happy for him he seems like a humble good guy
  7. Dude, I love those Time Life series. Honestly, I've got five different series... dating back to the early '70s. WWII, Civil War, The Old West, The Sciences and the Cooking ones (which is a masterpiece of culinary literature).
  8. We had them and our offense sucked and had worse record
  9. Hell of a throw by williams on that last play
  10. Imagine if the Panthers had CMC, Sam Darnold and DJ Moore. Imagine if they got rid of them all and bet the house on a make a wish kid with an old Adam Thielein as his number 1
  11. Didn't whiff on Johnson he said hell no to tepper. Williams is the 4th best QB out of that draft class
  12. Lmao everything fuging sucks so goddamn hard
  13. Not to take away from them making the most of their chances, but they have had a ton of "lucky breaks" this year. They feel like last years Chiefs to me...the ball just bounces their way every damn time. Glad to see DJ Moore finding success. I forgot we actually do draft good players, we just trade them all.
  14. I would make the case we either play our asses off or play like ass.
  15. The bears caught every single break this game, Love getting injured, the packers fumbling at the 5 yard line, getting the onside kick, another fumbled snap.
  16. We gave the Bears the keys for their current success, players/draft pick wise from the Bryce trade. Cant really say who won the trade just yet, that's gonna take years for a real answer. But as of right now? I think it's s safe to say the Bears are winning that trade by a landslide thus far. They look way more explosive than us, they're winning more games, and they also have the head to head games vs us since the trade. It's going to look even uglier if we miss the playoffs and the Bears make a run. I think the only thing we could do to win the trade is win a super bowl. Or the Bears would have to totally flame out for multiple years. Don't see that happening.
  17. What a freaking game, man..wow. That's about as good as it gets. Go 'head, DJ!
  18. He has a ton of work left to become elite but the bones are very clearly there. I think Ben Johnson will be able to mold him into something. Not sure if he will ever reach his ceiling, but he will be a fun player.
  19. Bears have their QB. Caleb improving on his rookie year, and he had a pretty decent rookie season. Guess that’s another one better than our guy lol
  20. Whiffed on Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams. All while giving up DJ Moore.
  21. Coach from Asheville…. Caleb Williams (pick) and DJ Moore from Carolina….. cool……….. smdh
  22. Improbable win but feels kinda dirty seeing the Bears knocked out Love early.
