This just can't be a real stat, right? That seems so wild

Cards have hired GB DC. Mcderp, he was the one to end the goat HC rein. At the time bills were in the 20 years and no playoffs area. He own that division, Billy beanie has done little drafting after-wise after getting very lucky with Josh Allen. Since then Josh has carried the most, its very hard drafting with the 25th spot each round.
-
When you look at how bad BUF has been in FA and drafting you realize how god awful Beane is

Pantherxtreme started following Sean McDermott Fired

There's never been a HC/QB combo that's went to a Super Bowl and it wasn't within first 5 years. Only 2 teams had Super Bowl hopes this season that were outside that window. Buffalo: McDermott and Allen Baltimore: Harbaugh and Jackson Both coaches after failing a Super Bowl run were fired at the end of the season.

He’ll be a HC candidate for us next season. dude should get consideration for the beard alone.

Man I was hoping if Evero leaves that Ulbrich would be the Panthers DC hire. He turned the Falcons defensive pass rush into one of the leagues best.

To everyone saying he won't take a DC job and only will be taking a HC job this year, I'm not entirely sure about that. To begin with, in today's NFL, most teams prefer to hire an offensive background coach over defensive. Adding to that, there have been 3 hires so far this year, with 2 of them being defensive guys. And since there are only going to be so many teams looking to hire a defensive minded HC each year, it decreases his odds. Also, Saleh was always a hot name in this cycle and teams are probably more familiar with him as they've been looking into him for a while already. Then you look at the openings left... The Cardinals just fired a defensive coach, can't see them hiring another right after. I can't see him wanting to go to the Raiders or Browns (sure, the Browns could actually be a great fit because of the defense they'd have for him to take over, but going from Josh Allen to the freaking Browns situation would be real tough I'd think). That just leaves the Ravens and Steelers. He's probably too old for the Steelers to have any interest in him and I've got to think the Ravens are going to be looking for an innovative offensive mind type of HC to maximize Lamar's prime window. Sure, he might just sit the season out and try for a HC job next offseason, but I just don't see any fits that make sense for him right now.

Falcons continue making good moves. One of the reasons they hired a coach so quickly was because locking up Ulbrich was a priority. The Falcons agreed to terms with defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich on a new three-year deal, per sources. Kevin Stefanski’s first key staff addition come in-house in Atlanta, where Ulbrich’s D set a franchise record with 57 sacks in 2025.

Their fans want to fire Beane more than McDermott.

I think it would be an interesting switch. I would imagine CJ's rookie year would have been horrible, since he apparently cannot operate without a good OL. Well, that was early Bryce, no OL. But it probably would have improved over time. Very likely CJ would not have looked very good here at all. It's a tough spot for most QB's. Bryce makes it look tougher than it actually is, certainly, but it isn't a good spot for any QB.

How Does This Happen? Another Ref Mistake in our Game

They are corrupt, not incompetent. -
That is one of the most delusional posts I have ever seen here. Literally.

Bryce is trending upward....ish? You know, like a ripple in a lake after you throw a small stone in. CJ is almost a direct line downward. He had been declining steadily since his rookie year. This playoffs was a literal fall off a cliff.

Ejiro Evero CARDefensive Coordinator Steelers completed a virtual interview with Panthers DC Ejiro Evero, amongst others. The Steelers reportedly completed virtual interviews with seven coaches during the previous week, to include, Evero, Packers DC Jeff Hafley, 49ers OC Klay Kubiak, Chargers DC Jesse Minter, Rams pass game coordinator Nate Scheelhaase, Rams DC Chris Schula, and Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver. The team will also reportedly conduct in-person interviews this week for the select few that made it through their first round of questioning. More to come following the unexpected departure of Mike Tomlin, who had been the league’s longest tenured coach.

You sound triggered. Maybe you need some therapy?

If Stroud "fell off a cliff" this year as you guys are alluding to, then what does that say about bryce? Stroud had better stats than young..........and his missed a month of the season. So yeah keep coping

Install a pi-hole to cover all devices in your house? You'd be surprised how many random things you'd block for privacy-related items too

Saw Shane Willis out in the concourse. I didn’t remember him being that stout. Anyways, Willis definitely had a buzz, you could clearly see it in his interviews. Should have bought him a beer, oh well maybe next time.

How Does This Happen? Another Ref Mistake in our Game
tukafan21 replied to tukafan21's topic in Carolina Panthers
There is so much wrong with this post it's scary. First, as it's been explained to you, the Bills call was 100% correct, he never actually had control of the ball outside of literally less than a half second of time, you're stuck on super slow mo and still frames as your proof. And second, the refs get almost zero replay assistance on the types of calls that make people say they are terrible at their jobs. Replay assistance is for things like catches, in/out of bounds, fumbles, and ball placement. Fans really don't care much about those things and if refs are right or wrong, because of the replay assistance (only comes into factor when it's too close to call so the original call stands) They don't get any assistance on the rest of the penalties that are always what fans get upset about and why people say refs are terrible. Namely, things like holding and PI, both called and missed, which they get absolutely zero replay assistance for. It's those things I'm talking about where it's really tough for 7 refs to catch everything all the time. They can only watch so many things at once, and that's if they even have a line of sight on the penalty, so many times the ref is watching the play but the player's bodies are between the ref and the penalty, particularly PI. -
Slowik was who I wanted as our HC when we hired Canales. He clearly had an idea of how to maximize Strouds talent. sophmore slumps happen, but he fell off a cliff this year and I believe it can be due to getting rid of him.
