  1. Past hour
  2. fug Deion Sanders for robbing Luke of the honor of first ballet.
  3. The super processor has been late his entire career in the NFL.. Balls way too often don’t go when they should (late) or he misses the window and turns it into a scramble. Off topic but what I also hate about some of the ALL22 twitter type stuff. Too many folks pausing clips to make whatever argument they want. You can pause the same play, screen shot seconds apart and sell 2 different narratives on the still shots.
  4. Smitty should 100% be in, no doubt. Not all that surprising though as he mostly played in our market and also has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way off the field. Luke should've been first ballot, but whatever. Looking at that group I think he gets in this year.
  5. LFG. I remember exactly where I was when I looked down at my phone and saw we drafted a linebacker and I was thinking “in the top 10? With Beason and Anderson? Typical Panthers poo.” Was with my now ex’s family waiting outside a Cracker Barrel in Durham. I know that’s got nothing to do with Luke the player and what he accomplished but you don’t often have a memory like that imprinted on you unless someone really is transcendent. He deserves it.
  6. Young threw for 54 yards… Darnold also had a horrific last game in a Panthers uniform when the Panthers beat the Saints. It’s either coaching, or its ability. For Darnold I believe it was coaching. For Bryce, I think it’s largely an ability defect
  7. Its not Ace Boogie. But this guy definitely left for a while to become a Patriots fan. Made a whole stink about it as he was leaving, too. He eventually came back because the Patriots were ass for a minute, too.

  9. Nope. Just waiting for this build to end. I catchup after the games but Im not sitting through that garbage anymore. Im here to make fun of this team until there is a reason to just enjoy the football again. It's been that way since '21. Watch some, tune out, watch some more, tune out again. I have said it before, this place is way more fun than anything they have fielded in years.
  10. I get what you are saying is technically correct but winning a division with a losing record off a loss on a tiebreaker just feels dirty. The NFC South does not even deserve a team in the playoffs this year. I wish they would just take the best teams regardless of divisions but it is what it is.
  11. Yes but that doesn't prohibit you from being a very effective player. It can mean that you will be played differently in coverage to limit you but that's still going to have skill and usage elements that can nullify it. Point being that I am never going to get overly caught up on the "too small" narrative if the player has elite attributes that are greater than those physical limitations. That's the issue with Bryce. All of the supposed "elite" attributes turned out to be vaporware. So now you get left with a small, physically limited player that has little in the way of skills. Nightmare scenario. Horn is both fast and quick. Yes he is slight but if he were elite in other aspects(vision, route running, hand fighting, hand eye coordination, etc) that would be very much less significant.
  12. This local player crap is how we have whiffed on several guys. College sports fans are fickle and they aren't real professional sports fans. When whatever bum 9th stringer they care about gets cut, they will jump to supporting whatever team had their bum 8th stringer still on the roster. This is particularly true of Clemson/South Carolina fans. Attempting to court college fans is a pointless exercise. You will gather far more fair weather and potential long term fans if you just fuging win games.
  13. Hill is also built for contact, he just happens to be short. Sort the Kyler vs Bryce scenario Horn short and small. Thats gonna impact ability down the sideline IMO and all sorts of areas
  14. I think you are basically describing not being a fan of the team anymore. Do you watch the games on a week to week basis?
  15. I would not. There isn't a team in the division that deserves to sniff the playoffs. Im not a player so it's easy for me. Adding another game I won't watch isn't something I need more of.
  16. Got to have that offensive HC you know they can only win games
  17. Let’s get it to three in a row. LFG Canes!
  18. Tyreek Hill is small. It's about the ability to use the skills you have to get open and utilizing that speed. Horn has zero physical limitations in that regard. Is he skilled enough and dedicated enough to do so? To be determined. I will say that they don't seem to view him as a legit WR, which is perplexing. Especially since they view XL as one, despite the mountainous amounts of evidence otherwise.
  19. See the "participation trophy" thing is not on point. As always, literally, it's all about math. Each team begins the season with the same opportunity and if it comes down to a tiebreaker, that means one team did enough while the other one(s) did not. Win one more game throughout a 17 game season, and you don't have to rely on tiebreakers.
  20. Today
  21. Horn really is probably too small to be your speed. He would have to get more open than NFL open on deep plays if they ever tried it
  22. XL is the player we are talking about. He has the speed to blow the top off a defense and he has to be accounted for. Notice how little effort they have to expend accounting for him versus Tet. Larry Fitzgerald was not fast. DeAndre Hopkins was not fast. Jerry Rice was not fast. Did that matter? Skill beats speed 95% of the time. Do yourself a favor and go combine to combine sorting 40 times and then look at career productivity. What quickly becomes evident is all those 40 time gold and silver medalists rarely make any NFL impact. Again, skill beats speed 95% of the time. Get SKILLED players.
