  1. Past hour
  2. Word is he is going to want to bring his own gm. That has Atlanta or Miami written all over it. Really hope he doesn’t end up with the Falcons he will get that group over the hump fast.
  3. Not sure were you get the news but they have lost 7 in a row and 9 out of 10...... And given up 6 goals per game in the process
  4. I agree. Prove that he can't do it or just let him have at it. Can't keep trying to protect him. I mean this is football.
  5. Good luck finding someone that can throw for more than 54 yards in a game.
  6. Came in to post the exact same sentiment. If Sleepy dwarf gets you poo canned, you don't probably don't want to work with Happy dwarf either.
  7. Yeah I can't tell who's a LB from that still. Okay researched the numbers. #42 and #7 are LBs dropping back into coverage. Not sure who the free rusher is. They sent 4 guys against 5 offensive linemen and ended up with a free rusher. That's friggin insane.
  8. Canales needs to have him do our sneaks. Its a huge disadvantage to have a qb that cant sneak it.
  9. His comments in the interview the other day didn’t sound like he was planning on playing “a better day today, if I’m called on I’ll do my best”
  10. Huh? If Young continues to progress and the Panthers are progressing you’re most likely going to sign Young anyways. If it’s still a bit unclear that’s where it gets tricky but in Young’s case given his first 2 years he might have to be one of the rare cases of playing on his 5th yr option If it’s clear he’s the weak link here then all you’re stuck with is his 5th year option. I’m sure some team would take a swing on Young. Even with the option price tag but if not then you’re stuck with 26 mill for one year. Big whoop Not sure why you keep stressing about this. Ultimately it would be silly not to pick up the option
  11. Their fans seem very upset about this..
  12. Has Young ever got a 1st down with a qb sneak?
  13. Lamar did and went into the franchise tag. The difference here is A)he and his mom were acting as his agent which everyone under the moon said that was insane and B)they were actively negoiating while he was playing. He knew a deal was coming
  14. I love his offense so id be super happy.
  15. thats the thing you are not getting, picking up the option for that price basically you are saying young is the dude for 2 more years. And like I just said he is going to want a new deal regardless after the 4rth.
  16. Na, he has been out of action other than practice for a while. Game speed and physicality is different. He may be worse due to just being out so long and not up to game speed and physicality. On top of that, risking re injury. Let him sit the year out.
  17. Yeah, I don't think he'd want to have another go with Temu Tua in Bryce.
  18. His arm isn’t gonna magically get better either and fixing his footwork seems to be a non issue for him, so all I reasonably see is more of the same. I mean he has shown that with the proper form he can throw .. okay, NFL speaking. Much better than when doesn’t use it. But he doesn’t seem to focus on it. What significant strides do the people saying this expect to see? This year for me was about raising his floor and he has nowhere near done that. He has improved on his ceiling somewhat. But I think he is bumping up against that.
  19. I mean he wouldn’t have much choice and Bryce holding out given all the uncertainty the first 3 years wouldn’t exactly be a smart move on his part Hypothetically speaking if Bryce continues to progress in year 4 and the Panthers keep progressing and make the playoffs again then yeah, it gets a bit tricky as far as contract into 2027 goes. I guess that all depends on what exactly that year 4 progression looks like Pick up the option and worry about that at the end of next season when you have another full season to evaluate
  20. As much as I believe he can become a franchis QB, he is not there yet and his play does not warrant making demands. I may be a stan but I'm not gonna be stupid about it.
  21. This is a tough call. 4-9 month recovery and he’s coming back in month 5. He also is going to be rusty and has t played at game speed since September. Trotting him out there against a historically outstanding defense (based on DVOA) is also a tall task. I have no doubt he’s up for it and is a huge upgrade at RG in a huge game. It’s a delicate balance for current vs next year success.
  22. That and a lack of situational awareness there. He's just better when he has room to operate and not have to think about too many things at once. Catch the ball, then run to daylight. Keep it simple and plain.
  23. I don’t think he gets a HC gig this time around. Maybe TEN w/ Ward at QB, but I think the recent Miami debacle and his non-traditional personality are not a fit for all teams. As an OC, absolutely. As someone else pointed out, if he does try to rebuild his brand, I think Detroit or WAS make sense. Carolina’s and another undersized Bama QB would not be his best option….nor his choice I would imagine.
