So, based off the official depth chart, there are a few things I dont like on defense. Bobby Brown III as the backup, with Robinson starting over him, and our smallest DL starting at NT. I dont like that neither of our 2nd rounder OLBs are starting, so I am hoping for heavy rotation there. Also, David Moore is our punt returner, WTF? Also, our primary backup RB as the KR when we have other capable players like Horn Jr and Trevor? I did after getting tired of his incredibly bad Bryce takes. Don't know how it got cut back on. He's the huddle version of a flat earther.

For a long term fit, totally. But we can find better than the current backups on the team off the waiver wire.

I don't see how. I have consistently favored young players. So I have zero issues w/ the rookies. Moore nor Renfrow fall into that camp. The convo is only about Moore. Not the young guys making it over him. I have disagreed w/ the Panthers decision makers very often this time of year for several years. The Panthers decision makers do not have a great track record vs those criticisms.

That's going to have to wait until the next draft unfortunately.

I usually don’t dog on a position group too hard…. but our LB group is probably ranked #96 if you combine every NFL LB room aggregated for the past 3 seasons. Trevin has a monster opportunity but we 1 million percent need to find some NFL level talent at ILB

I mean, this is always the case with the QB position. But I agree with LinvilleGorge; we need to know one way or the other. No in between bullshit. Franchise QB or bust.

Renfrow has said the Panthers are the only team he'd play for so this cut could just be an fancy way to get an extra roster spot. They can sign him back at any time whenever the first injury hits the team. It's also very possible they want to go young or that it was a special teams thing. I'm a big Renfrow fan and wish him continued good health. Would love to bring him back as a coach if his playing days are really over.

He looked decent filling in during that Kansas City game. Regardless WRs this deep on the roster are special teams players primarily.

You. Like Icege. Who is once again spamming poo reactions on my posts despite having me on ignore and apparently having endless amounts of time on his hands to do so. Are just as toxic as those you accuse others of. You can keep flailing and complaining about the posts. You are also the same one who made it a point to complain endlessly about how negative the board is but here you going off the deep end and making it personal because you are being exposed to points that challenge your narrative. I will continue to visit the huddle hoping this franchise and our first overall pick in particular can somehow turn things around. I wonder if the hammy is still an issue? He immediately reached for it after that hospital ball in the final PS game. I'd still rather have Renfrow on PUP vs. Moore active.

Don't care about Cherelus, but in terms of Brown vs Simmons, we certainly made the right choice.

I am not that surprised. His health issues have been significant. It was between him, Horn and Moore, and I guess the coach decided to go with younger/healthier.

We have never had a receiver that is better at actually catching the ball than Thielen. He may be older and not as fast as he once was, but no one can legitimately say he can't catch. I think Coker and Sanders are pretty good at it as well.
