Assuming he doesn't push for a trade. Though again, I doubt he has any real leverage.
-
Also this... To be clear, Avery stated that he is not talking about race, but have no further clarification that I saw

He will have his redemption shot at some point this year, so long as he is not too tired. Jones has far too much of an injury history to not miss time.

Post- Training Camp 53-Man Roster Projection
Dave Gettleman's Shorts replied to Seltzer's topic in Carolina Panthers
going from no live contact to full contact in within two and half weeks until week 1 is asking for another injury especially if his main role is to block 250+ pound defenders on the other hand, he would also needs reps with Bryce to get timing down as a receiver he would be on snap count restrictions like you mentioned but there's no point of putting him on the active 53 to play 10-15 ineffective snaps I think it be smarter to start him on the PUP list to start the season to have more time to ramp his workload up -
Pretty sure we interviewed Peters for the GM job when Rhule was here (they were old acquaintances). As I recall though, he noped out of the second round. Always figured he balked at the idea of being second in command.
-
Also, to be fair to Michael Vick, it typically takes about 20 years to fully learn the West Coast Offense

It was reported by a commanders insider shortly before the NFC championship this year… https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/washington-commanders/news/washington-commanders-ben-johnson-sam-howell-qb-interview-head-coach-nfl/3a0ec2dec52ce9d3c95a0d74#:~:text=Washington Commanders%3A Ben Johnson had, interviewing for HC last year

Just saw this... I get that as an agent, it's his job to advocate for his client. I question whether he really has a leg to stand on here, though

2. Cause its the front of the plane and I have to pee.

I feel like Darnold is a guy that can have a partially good season, but never a complete one. To his credit, he did at least improve the number of games he was capable of looking good for after he left us

The Panthers have an effort problem

To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door. It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired. I just follow the science guys. -
Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time. Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman. I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.

There is a name for this but I can't put it on the forum.

Get off my lawn Reid coached Vick for a while. It helped, but ultimately Vick was still Vick. One of the maxims I swore by for years was to never sign a free agent QB from Reid's system because they never looked the same anywhere else. Would that apply to Mahomes? Difficult to say. I might lean no, but it applied to McNabb. Doubt that theory ever gets a true test, though.

That’s my read as well. If Wallace wants it, it’s there to take.

I can not discuss Allen with Scot anymore, but I feel there are four in the same group and ANY of them would have the same success if not more than mahomes. Again Andy Reid is the best QB coach in NFL history. I dare to think the numbers Burrow would have without being sacks 60 times a year, Andy Reid's guidance, and KCs talent. Hed break them all. I wouldn't want to see what type of system Lamar would do with KC, it would be pure nightmare fuel for 31 defenses. Hed have over 1k on the ground and 5k in the air and challenge Toms 55 TD total. Love to watch tho....

Calm down now, gramps. Johnny U is still great. LOL

Most of the guys I would have considered elite have retired.
