When we win it’s usually close. When we lose… it’s not close at all.

Jerry was 1 of 1. Not sure there’s ever been a more talented guy that also had the work ethic he did. He’s the Tom Brady of WRs. The GOAT
-
Plus he was in the era in which Safety, LBs, and CBs could de-cleat WRs/TEs on crossing routes. He was beyond tough too. Plus those numbers his 4.66 40 time etc....... GameDay with 15 LBs of pads/clothes/tape, he was the fastest guy on the field. In fact I never recall at any point Rice being ran down or "hawked" from behind by any player. He was a gamer and clutch, just like lex Lugar the total package.

Not all talent can be measured with a ruler and stopwatch. His hands, body control, and ball skills were ELITE.

He did have talent, but if you look at his combine/workout numbers...they are not eye popping like many of the combine freaks are. All the best have talent, smarts, and work ethic. What he was able to do in his 40s, he holds all the records after 40. He had two 1k seasons at 39 and 40, no other WR has 1k after 36. He came back from a ACL tear within 9 months after he turned 35 years old. You know this is the era where ACl was a career derail-er and it took most mortal men took a full 12 months and they were never the same. Only two other players have made catches at that age (40) and neither one was a wide receiver. LOL at Tom being one of them.... I also read or heard, he would have still played if not for ST. He was going to play for the broncos in 2006, I think he would have been 44???, he earned a spot as the #4-6 but the numbers game of having WRs play ST ended his career. He could still get open and play, just no sense in having the GOAT run head first into a wedge on KO duties.....

With a strong finish to the season, he has a real chance at being just the 3rd Panther to make the Pro Bowl in their rookie season (and just the 2nd as a non special teamer) after Cam and Smitty. He won't make it on the original selections, not over JSN, Puka, Pickens, St Brown, London, Jefferson who should all finish with at least the same amount of yards and TDs, if not more. No rookie is getting selected over all those big name vets with similar statistical seasons. But a couple injuries and/or reaching the NFC Championship and pulling out of the Pro Bowl, he very well could be one of the first couple alternates and end up making it. Last year the NFC ended up with 7 WRs making it in the end after players who pulled out got replaced.

I pounded the drum for us to take Warren. Tet has been quite a good pick, though. Can't wait to see what he develops into. We haven't seen it all from him yet.

How many Qbs can you name better than Bryce Young?

This forum will fight over whoever the QB is. Jake and Cam in their good days had their fans and detractors. Everyone takes this so effing seriously sometimes that we forget we don't live and die by this but watch instead to take us away from the strife of the world for just a little while. Yeah, it's bread and circuses, but when the poo is deep, at least you've got that, yanno? -

Oh, He definitely worked his ass off. Don't get me wrong. But he didn't "simply out work everyone". I could've been the hardest working person to have ever lived and I wad never stepping foot on a D1 field much less an NFL training camp. The Jerry Rices of the world is when elite work ethic intersects with elite talent.

Ball has came out and fully denied the rumor and hornets said they are not shopping him.(but seems are allowing teams to offer...) Just play bitach boy, God dam. You are very talented, maybe the .....well not ready to say that, just figure out how not to be in street clothes and help this insane 2025 class reach the playoffs.

Rice had david goggins drive and determination. He simply out worked everyone.

Apology accepted. I take back the fug you. I am sick of the same arguments. How many fuging days in a row must we talk about the same thing. It is always the same thing. I’d be fine to move on from him no matter what he plays like just to get rid of that dynamic at this point. -

Not a single one of those look like our base silver helmet. Ours has a sparkle too it. -
Don't testify with this, my member berry sucks. I recalled Thomas talking about it and the second ACL tear I believe they used cadaver and it failed. He still wanted to play and asked Mr Richardson for the opportunity.(all teams at this point would cut bait with the player). They took a ligament form his other knee, which made the rehab longer but he had a better change at coming back. The other part is history. I mean people talk about Tom Brady and his late career master class, TD needs some love form playing at a high level late into his career with 3 ACLs, just no other to compare either. Brooks should not be counted on and if hes able to come while keeping his elite RB skills, welcome back then!

Sorry, I'm just tired of this constant gnashing of teeth and cutting of our flesh because of something we can't control, even in the face of what was a helluva game with an amazing, gutsy comeback by the whole team. Geez, can't we just enjoy that moment and maybe hope that we might deserve some more ahead of us? Why do we have to just sit around and punch ourselves in the nuts even when it is far from deserved. -
