Bucs are still the favorites to win the division

Bucs are still the favorites to win the division

Everybody wants to go ahead and print playoff tickets now. Nothing, absolutely nothing is chiseled out in stone at this point. This team is more than capable of going out and losing the last 4 games. -
It feels like Vegas is basing this more on the remaining schedules rather than on the Bucs being the better team. If so, I agree that we have the tougher schedule and that the question of who's better is an undetermined wash at this point.

Falcons @ Bucs Game Day thread

Not your bro. -
I agree with all three sides. (1) It's too early and too bipolar to know where we are. It feels like we've come off of two wins but we've actually had one shocker where the pieces fell our way and one bye where Jobu accepted our KFC. (2) However, here's what gives me optimism: The fluky wins were not all fluke. In each we had parts that clicked. And different parts in different games. That appears to imply a need for a tune up to click on all cylinders rather than a lemon that starts occasionally. (3) If we need an HOA pres, I'll be content with WhoKnows. For now, I agree with Mr. Scott's earlier post. I'll be happy if we sneak into the playoffs even if we're one and done. That is better than what I thought we'd have this year and would set the stage for future growth.

How many divisional titles in a row?

This is truly what the franchise and us fans need, as this will show us beyond any doubt, who Byrce, and our team is.

We’ve got two horses in Rico and Chuba…. I expect Canales to have a gameplan perfected for tomorrow -
If we beat NO and beat Tampa on the 21st, that’s it. No 2 up with 2 games to go, we are done. The loss to Atlanta and a win at NO means that if we split with Tampa, we get the tiebreaker with a better division record. That’s why we have to beat NO. We do that and we have a home game to clinch the division.

Ah yes…. The polls and odds -
Exactly

Let's see how we finish. But I do think the bottom of the roster is significantly better. We're definitely more competitive than last year.

Read my post above. I’ve got my tickets for Tampa so I’m hopeful we win. I hate lauding threads that are way premature. They scream bad luck.

You don’t get what I’m saying. Optimistic in this case was due to a praising thread like we’ve reached the top. I’m having fun this season and I’m optimistic that we can take the division. I’m not heaping praise on our front office and HC yet. We aren’t close to done and we’ve (including you) had a bad habit of putting the cart before the horse since 2017. When Rhule went 3-0, we had all kinds of talk about how we get the 1 seed. How about we cheer and root for the team and hope we beat NO first before we laud our front office for getting us to 7-6 in the worst division in the NFL. When we start throwing around praise, we’ve come up short for 8 straight years. I’ve walked this street before and if we had prime Cam, CMC, Olsen, Luke, Short and TD, I wouldn’t bat an eye, but this team has been a bit of an abusive relationship lately.

Excited every week. Every. Single. Week.

Of course the announcing team employed by the franchise says we. Are these people idiots? They are a homers everywhere for every team on earth

Of course, every team they face will have 15-20 penalties called on them. -
So basically can he hide his QB?

As they should be. We've got to play them twice, they'll fancy winning both of those. -
That will flip on Sunday.
