The grading system doesn’t mean much. No second round player hasn’t had first round grades from the team that drafted him. Third rounders usually too. Dont get caught up in that.

Fitterer made the final decision. You can't pin Fitterer's regime on Morgan. We wouldn't have hired him if he had the same outlook. It is very clear that Morgan is not Fitterer.

I was with him until he started playing the victim and being asshurt about being "cut" from the Panthers when he literally asked to be released and we did him a solid and obliged him so he could sign somewhere else. He can fug off with all of that.

Nah, if we lose then the season was a failure because all it took to win the division was beating the Saints once and we couldn't do it. That's a pretty big failure. Teams go from bad to good all the time... going from bad to mediocre isn't a successful season in my books

Dan's been part of 5 drafts, 3 as an assistant to the "last guy" and 2 leading the way. The first 3 with Fitts were pretty ugly overall. Last year's draft, his 1st, isn't looking hot. This year looking like a winner. He's been part of some bad FA decisions, some good ones, and right now we have the most expensive OL in the league with our franchise LT on the last year of his rookie deal. That's going to get even more expensive. I'm not ready to crown him as a GM god quite yet because one good year isn't making up for all the bad that's been done the previous 4.

After 3 decades I'm over the feel good winning season then back into sucking. I would like a consistent winning team. If Bryce is part of that, great. If not, also great. But I think Scourton had 1st round grades and he fell to the 2nd... I think I remember him saying that when he got to Texas A&M, that he played out of position and he dropped a little.

We have a good rookie TE in relatively limited usage, a OROTY candidate in a rookie WR, a rookie made the game-ending pick, and a rookie got us the game winning points. This is more than just Scourton's play imo.

I’m pulling for the Packers for sure. If we strangely end up in the playoffs you have my support if we don’t play you. That’s the best I can do for you my friend. But I would lay odds the Packers have a much better shot than the Panthers.

This is how I feel. Could we find a better DC this off-season? I think so. Could we do worse than EE? I think so. We rank 14th in points allowed per game (22.5). Last year we gave up 31.4 points per game. We've only given up 30 points in 2 games this season, the blow out losses to Buffalo (40) and NE (42). If we could find a double digit sack guy to come off of the edge and find ONE STUD ILB, we could easily be a top 10 defense in 2026 with this current scheme.

You're never going to nail every pick. For a while there at the beginning of the season it looked like Princely was going to be better than Scourton. Just about every pick as produced somehow this season and that's rare. Not to mention the FA in Coker and Thourton. What I do like is most of these guys have that "Dawg" mentality and in year or so they are going to really start paying dividends.

For CPOE, Bryce is still at -0.6 on the season, good for 23rd in the league. He's been good there the last few weeks but was terrible for the weeks before (-2.9, -0.7, +0.1, -6.6, -4.2).

Y'all have a 92% of getting into the playoffs and if standings hold, you'll be playing the Bears in the first round, which will give you a revenge game. I think you'll be alright.

We are 22nd in scoring %. Saying we are a ball control offense doesn't change anything. It's a low ceiling offense that doesn't produce much offense. And it's not very efficient or good w/ the opportunities it does have (22nd in scoring %) I mean, getting to 8 wins is really crazy. I mean props to Canales but that's just not a working formula going forward. When this season ends, we need our front office to really acknowledge the overachieving and sort of flukiness of this season. We got a lot of work to do still.

He seemed to be forcing his throws. The defense had a lot to do with that at times. He was focusing on Evans on every snap. Those 2 wanted this game bad.
