  1. Past hour
  2. And remember how the vast majority of us here on this board spend a lot of time in the locker room, on the bench and going out to dinner with the current players and coaches of the team. Who better than us to have our fingers on the pulse of what's really happening in the real Panthers. Sometimes our surety of statements around here gets so very, very thick.
  3. Bussi was in the crease yesterday so hopefully. However with how lazy this team has played on the blue line and with turnovers. It’s won’t matter.
  4. When the top 4 guys all play well the hornets are 100% a playoff team. They've got to start doing that on most nights
  5. cam is the best pundit. i only refer to legette as kadoosh now
  6. Even if he weren't an employee or former player, what is the context of that tweet/post? What if he posted that right after his career high game against Atlanta?
  7. Media jobs pay so much that unless he just has a truly unquenchable competitive fire, he has no reason to return.
  8. I'd like to see him in some type of role here if he's tired of being on the field. He clearly knows about winning football.
  9. There's a chance. Florida's injury list is long- Marchand, Seth Jones, Tkachuk, Nosek, Gadjovich, Barkov, Kulikov, Schmidt. But I see Freddie penciled in. I'll reserve comment until lineups are due later this afternoon. I'll miss this one due to a social commitment, but I'll be checking my phone when I can.
  10. Today
  11. People sometimes forget that not only is the NFL a large corporation but it has 32 vice presidents that own a fug load of non-NFL corporations. It's basically a corporate country club.
  12. Yeah I was gonna say. I've been seeing people do similar things where I work for years.
  13. Horn was open on the first play but Bryce was trying to get the ball to Coker. First play the Rams were in cover 1 with a robber that did a great job of taking Coker and TMac away. Pressure got to the QB late as Moton was pushed on top of Bryce and he ended up throwing it away. Horn was open early underneath. Exactly what you're looking for here and he should have thrown to Horn. Maybe could have had Coker or TMac run the dig there instead, because the robber played both their routes perfectly taking them out of the equation. Throw away. Second play the Rams are in cover 3. Yosh gives up immediate pressure. Coker and TMac were open but Bryce was already escaping the pocket and immediately turned into a scramble drill. No WR got open after that. So had to throw the ball away. Third play the Rams were back into Cover 1 with the robber. Ball is thrown to Horn but he was held by his defender and couldn't get to the ball. Perfect pass. Perfect. DPI or defensive holding should have been called. Fourth play the Rams are back in Cover 1 no robber this time. TMac and Coker are running deep routes again. Jimmy pops open on the dig again with his man trailing. It's the right read. Good pass. Not perfect, but plenty good enough. Horn loses focus and drops it. No one was really schemed open in any of those plays. The second play was the only one that TMac and Coker were open, but the immediate pressure took the QB off his spot where he had to escape the pocket. I really don't know when he could have forced it to Coker or TMac. Maybe the last play. Deep safety was shading TMac. Coker had 1 on 1 running a fly, but the CB stayed on top the entire time. Maybe a deep back shoulder attempt. But Jimmy was open for the first.
  14. I generally start w/ his sub par offensive production, inability to threaten the entire field like you would hope a franchise QB has the ability of in his backpocket.....and then get into his unicorn size. how consistently below average and weak our offense has been under his direction (every season) IS the starting point of the Bryce "haters" convo. I mean, take a Caleb Williams and a Bryce Young. Forget draft status (despite it being identical)......they are world's apart if you just look at them as NFL only prospects. They are basically Arnold and Danny from the movie twins. Bryce basically is a likeable human and Caleb has all the other traits.
  15. You are. Completely. Them, They, Those etc. When you continue to loop all the people that are not satisfied with Bryce into some hate mongering group you lose credibility.
  16. Any decision maker making decisions based off what the media says, good or bad, isn't a good decision maker.
  17. https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-coaching-gm-tracker-latest-news-interviews-developments-2026-hiring-cycle The NFL has a great tracker for a the candidates and openings.
  18. "We actually need more team propagandists in the media" The last thing the decision makers of this franchise need is more people heaping unearned praise onto them 24/7. That's how you end up being irrelevant for a decade. Which we just did. How about let these folks actually prove any level of consistency.
  19. They operate the exact same way as most large corporations do, TBH.
  20. Tua is a much worse situation than Bryce. Tua continued to improve to being elite or near elite, garnering a mega deal and face of the franchise hype. Then the wheels fell off for various reasons. With Bryce, he has improved from absolutely dreadful to just simply bad. There shouldn't be an illusions about being elite or a mega deal being the face of a franchise. Well....if we had logical or rational people leading the franchise anyway.
  21. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/47622479/inside-pittsburgh-steelers-coach-mike-tomlin-decision-walk-away-step-last-game Great article, worth the read. It does sound like he made the decision to step down weeks ago and he has no intention of coming back at least for a year. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a path similar to Cowher and never returns.
  22. Tua also posted a winning record as a starter in each of his first 5 seasons.
