  1. Past hour
  2. Darnold and Mayfield have better teams around them than they ever had here. I still remember the slander they both got. To be fair, I was rather harsh on Mayfield but had you seen his "play", it made sense. Herbert with a red zone interception. And they had it at the one too. Oof.
  3. We had both of these dudes. I don't think Baker ever wanted to be here. I think Sam did. The regime that let Sam go will forever be on my "f those dudes" lists.
  4. Not sure that's accurate, but until he actually caught the ball, I certainly wasn't happy with it, but that one had absolutely nothing to do with T-Mac. Go back to that play pre-snap and I'd have picked any skill play on the field to have wanted us to throw the ball to more than XL on that play, hell, I'd have wanted to run a Bryce QB sneak before throwing it to XL there. He's lost all my faith in throwing him the ball in the end zone, and sure, him making that play has helped, but he's shown nothing in the last year plus so far to say he should be getting thrown passes in the end zone right now.
  5. Extra shoutout to him! Basically won this game for us! Him, Jimmy Horn Jr., and Mitchell Evans need more burn on offense!!
  6. Seriously. If one guy is killing you in the passing game it makes zero sense NOT to have your best cover guy follow him.
  7. Take away the two turnovers Bryce had and we also have a different story line. I do t think it works like that.
  8. Their WR1 is and was JSN in 2024. People get way too caught up on X being WR1 Tory Horton one of the better WR’s in this rookie class already as well
  9. Better idea, PLAY both of them! Bonus some plays have both on the field, Rico got great hands too!
  10. Any time we win, or he plays well (not saying he played well this game, I think he played a bit above average after the first quarter), they go out of their way to make these posts. Its like they get nervous that fans are going to start thinking Bryce isnt the problem and that will somehow affect what the Panthers do personel wise.
  11. It is a miniature Panther. Like Bryce…
  12. You know what, these days, yes, that's very true, I won't deny that. Because THE PANTHERS need to do something to earn my fandom back at this point with how bad it's been the last however many years. I've been a die hard Panthers fan for over 30 years now, but even with that, I flat out haven't cared about us for years because of the team's own doing, not because I didn't WANT to be a fan. Drafting T-Mac actually got me excited for the season for the first time in years, but in terms of actually caring about the team, I'm still not there yet because they continue to shoot themselves in the feet at every chance they get.
  13. I have a feeling when XL caught that TD, you were cursing atyour tv
  14. There’s no conspiracy here, they pivoted to a heavy rushing attack after Bryce turned the ball over twice and it worked. Bryce continued to be hit or miss even after settling back in. Bryce has got to play better for downstream players like T’Mac to eat.
  15. I dont think hes the answer either, but these posts always saying the same thing and regardless of win/loss, play well/play bad, etc. It just seems crazy to be the first thing to post after a win. This thread has been made a million times.
  16. cool you got to play against him. I played against a future NFL RB in high school as a LB and went to meet the guy in the hole for the first time and was on the ground looking up at him going down the field. I went at him with my regular effort. Wrong. I redeemed myself after understanding it was a different game and knocked the ball loose in the backfield later on, but man that guy was a load and as fast as the little guys. Mile Voight UNC was the guy, we lost a close one on a poo call. He was the best player I played against in 3 years. By far. The other RBs were the typical thin fast as hell guys. Yeah I rooted for him too. PS I thought RICO was going to be a good signing, looks like he was a great signing.
  17. Also, I think I need to re-iterate that people are taking this thread wrong and as me just complaining about T-Mac. Its intention was that we shouldn't look at Dowdle having 200+ yards and just being happy with the offensive performance today. If he had 200 yards because he had a dozen 8-15 yard runs and then the rest of it was filled in with short yardage stuff, I'd feel VERY differently. Because then it would be about a well called game because we would have been consistently breaking off chunk runs and sustaining long drives because of it. I'll admit I let it get away from me in my responses to people and it's only fed into the narrative that I'm upset about T-Mac. But the original intention was solely about not absolving the terrible offensive game plan and play calling just because Dowdle had an eye popping final box score. 6 plays do not make for a well called game, that's really all my original point was meant to be.
  18. Sam Darnold would fuging cook here now. Damn good regular season QB.
  19. BY knows the playcall and he knows he doesn’t want to throw those balls. Has Bruce ever thrown TMac a good vertical ball? Not talking about a deep post. Has ever thrown a good vertical ball to any WR in his career? He sucks at it. He also doesn’t have the arm for a lot of the comeback stuff as well on the outside. The playcalls is going to make stuff a no go for BY….because he knows if his setup isn’t perfect the throw will be horrific
  20. They played like they were playing for their jobs.
  21. Hell, PJ Walker gives you that. It doesn’t take draft capital to put some warm bodies with legit NFL tools on a roster. We intentionally have the QB room we have. There is no defense to it
