  1. Past hour
  2. I remember the Eurpe stint but their practice squad is where I thought we picked him from. I remember the active roster as qb3 for a couple of years before ending up on the practice squad where we snatched him. I thought he was on the practice squad 2 years and the roster 1 year. Got it backwards.
  3. Im ok with the 'ride or die' with BY. I think the FO know they get another shot if he doesnt make it, so why spend resources on a player that will never be the future anyway.
  4. I honestly believe people who think Tepper was willing to end the Bryce Young experiment and go for Cam Ward. Then Dalton got injured and completely screwed it up. But to answer the topic. No it is obvious that Canales doesn’t trust Bryce.
  5. In hindsight, honestly we should have stuck with Teddy and built the team up before dropping a drafted QB into place. We traded for Darnold, dumped him and seen him get success. We picked up Baker, dumped him and now will see him beat us 2x a year. Sometimes its not the player..
  6. Tepper wouldn't be able to pull a new coach in worth a damn if he fires Canales for not getting BY to work. So he essentially has to give Canales a shot with his own QB. Which means Canales is here for 1-2 more seasons at least.
  7. exactly, this is on the level of David Carr.....yet unlike parting w/ David Carr after a year we are entering year 3. We are basically the David Carr Houston Texans right now. Rationalizing how it is really everyone else making Carr/Bryce bad.
  8. Honestly, they needed to do this to force a decision once and for all. At least I hope that was the motivation. They know Andy isn't going to win many if any games at all so it's going to be Young or the next guy from the draft. They didn't want a backup coming in and winning a game or two to knock them further down the draft board. If that wasn't the plan going into this season then I'm not sure what we are doing here.
  9. Most of his time was assigned to Europe and active roster. None of which is the couch
  10. BS numbers are BS. Only one player has an official drop That's Hubbard The other throws were considered uncatchable by the NFL.
  11. Bill Parcells did a great job summing it up at draft time. "I realize there have been a couple of good short quarterbacks, but most of the guys doing these jobs are not 5-10. So if you draft people that look like the people that are already doing these jobs, your percentage (of hitting on them) is greater than if you draft someone who doesn't look like them." and specifically mentioning Bryce Young Parcells said Young "better walk on water"
  12. Next year would be the end of his rookie contract minus picking up his 5th year option.
  13. Yes. QBs are less than a coin flip now. Absolutely no way of knowing if they are going to be good or not. Fitterer ruined the decade for this team
  14. its 7 billion but point taken, he and his wife are here for the long haul
  15. Their bast chance would be after this season, barring a miraculous turnaround in his play. But I think he will do just enough for the team to keep him on the roster in hopes a miracle happens until his rookie contract is up.
  16. He shouldn't be here this season either but they l literally resigned him. I have no idea what next year will bring but if Young gets benched I would put $10 on him playing again regardless. I think it's a trade and for anything to just move it to the past like teams tend to do. If it gets really bad with no upside then they might have to cut him is my guess
  17. Look guys if everyone around him would just be perfect, Bryce would look average before the game got out of hand!
  18. If he keeps looking like trash, we should try to trade him for anything we can get and when no one bites just cut him. $12M is too much for a backup QB with no future.
  19. Dalton will not be here next season. I'm guessing Young will be here unless he's traded. They still control him for 2 more years so who knows. Who the starter will be i haven't a clue as I left my crystal ball in my other pants.
  20. Been through Cam and Jake. While both were flawed both weathered their share of scathing criticism and less than ideal circumstances and still flashed franchise QB level play more often than not. This is not that. Comparing this to either of our two best long term QB's in franchise history is frankly disgusting.
  21. I'm still a Bryce stan. I think coaching was the biggest issue in week one. Bryce was bad, but coaching made him look worse. I reserve the right to change my opinion next week, but this week the whole fuging team is an issue - and that comes down to the coaches.
