  1. Past hour
  2. He really does; and as a South Carolina fan, it blows my mind. He was a very solid Wr in college and didn't drop much. But he's clearly not a starting NFL WR at the moment.
  3. I predicted 9-8 and a division title. I expected the games to go very differently though.
  4. given our W/L/W/L/W pattern of late.... I expect it to come to week 18 just like up/up/down/down/left/right/left/right/B/A/B/A/select/start youngins won't know that
  5. Yeah absolutely. This past draft was stellar. We were due for one - the PFF guy and Tillis really helped out Dan Mo and I think it’s paid off dividends.
  6. No matter what we feel or think about the coaches. It has been since 2017 that we had 8 wins. 8 fuging years. Here we sit in control of our destiny. Things could be better. Things have been a whole lot worse.
  7. I may regret these words. I think Dave beats Seattle this week because they overlook us, and Tampa loses last second to the Dolphins. Can totally see everyone being confused when announcers say Panthers win NFC South and everyone thinking the week 18 game matters. Can also see none of that happening and the NFL making us and Tampa the SNF game week 18.
  8. I agree with you. This team is definitely on the upswing. If Morgan can nail the 2026 draft as well as he did the 2025 draft, I really believe the Panthers can be a legitimate playoff team for the rest of the decade. I think the two things that will affect our success the most going forward is improving the pass rush and the quality of QB play we receive (no matter who is behind center). The guys we drafted to pressure the QB will likely step up next season, and we have an entire off-season to acquire more talent. The most important factor is defiitely QB. When Bryce plays well, we play well. Even his harshest critics can't dispute that. I've been as critical of Young as anyone on this board. That said, if he could master climbing the pocket like Drew Brees and improve his ability to attack the middle/intermediate areas of the field, I think we might be able to ride with him for the next several years.
  9. Oh I am confident we are taking the W in Tampa.... it just means more to DB/Horn then Baker/Evans.... but no matter what this is a successful season in my eyes
  10. No, I really do not care. Not taking anything from him at all. I just don’t care or worry about individual stats or awards. If he wins it then good for him.
  11. What’s the cause of the slow starts? I wonder if it’s the lack of preseason snaps. I think we should bring in a good backup to light a fire over Bryce’s ass in the offseason.
  12. I mean idk how many people thought we would get to 8 wins, let alone have the chance to get to 9, 10 wins.
  13. We’re a ball control offense. If the defense isn’t getting off the field and the offense is killing the clock, we won’t get many possessions.
  14. It's December and we are playing meaningful football our entire coaching staff should return unless we want to upgrade DC the draft class (McMillan, Scourton, Evans, Ransom) look solid the free agent class (Moerig, Brown, Wharton, Rozeboom, Dowdle) all have contributed in meaningful ways Canales will grow as a coach Morgan is only getting started as a GM Young has shown with a good game plan he can execute and drive the team to victory We have one of the wealthiest owners in the league who has started to simmer down from being the lead guy but has the pockets to make just about anything happen It's a new era in the NFC South
  15. Scourton had his coming out game. This guy might be a solid player next season or might just take off like a rocket. Honestly, this whole team has that feel, that we're on the edge of something good. We're ahead of schedule on the retooling with Canales, we're competitive now. Can't wait to see this keep developing. That rookie class, though, is turning into something truly special.
  16. It feels good to win. Let's get two more to finish out the regular season. This is a freakishly weird team to figure out and one that seems to be at its scrappiest when taking on favored opponents. That in the playoffs could make for some very odd games. I can't wait to see them!
  17. This is a very fair concern, but the eagles and rams have the #1 and #2 ranked olines. They did that while also paying their QBs. Keeping good players around BY (at a reasonable cost), is a Dan Morgan problem.
  18. He’s basically a decoy, and not a very good one at that as defenses know the ball is almost never going his way. In this, it’s hard to overstate just how important Coker is.
  19. I'm going to say this, because it happens to a lot of young guys that get drafted high each year. If they've never had anything, and suddenly find themselves getting checks for a couple of hundred thousand dollars per week, they don't know what to do with it or don't know how to handle turning this into a career. I think XL might be one of those guys. He desperately needs someone to sit down with him, explain what being a selected star and then having to take the secondary receiver role means and how to turn that into a long, meaningful career. If Muhsin Muhammad could spend some times with him, Xavier might get this straightened out and become a contributor. He's got the skills, he's got the physicals, his brain just isn't into it and I question the maturity.
  20. We had some serious run blocking problems. Tampa's run D was a weakness for them coming into this game and they really sold out on keeping us bottled up. They succeeded at that. They were more prepared for Rico than Chuba, but both guys struggled. Nice to see we were able to adjust.
  21. Yeah, if the Raiders were halfway decent, I think he probably is easily the leader for OROTY. TMac is on pace for 73 rec for 1047 yds and 8 TD's. So he would tie the rookie receptions record, set the rookie yardage record and be one behind the leader for rookie TD's for a WR in Panthers franchise history.
  22. Just because you don’t have an abnormally healthy starting OL in a given year….doesn’t mean they are playing bad because depth gets involved We have seen lots of bad OL play in Carolina at times. This unit is not one of the bad variants we have seen run game has been top 10 most of the year. Bumped down to 11 at the moment.
  23. Only reason XL still gets a jersey on game day is draft politics. Some of his ish is cringe worthy and no aspect of his game has shown any improvement.
  24. XL needs to put on the Sir Purr outfit and just officially become the mascot. Better yet, put on a bodysuit and cape, become Super Purr and dunk footballs over the crossbar on timeouts.
  25. Game seems to slow down for him last year as well then the beginning of this year it was like he was a rookie again. Are we gonna have to deal with the same thing next season?
