  1. Past hour
  2. Did the WPG assistant coach just vape on the bench?
  3. It’s time to win. They had their moral victories against the Chiefs, Eagles, etc. last year. We proved we can hang, I’m ready to see the wins. Hope we pick 32nd.
  4. There’s not an easier team to root for. Welcome brother.
  5. If you include his present year, it's 45 million per year. That is pretty close to middle of the pack starter if you're looking at yearly average. Who else are you going to pay? What are the options? These guys are not paid in a vacuum. Who is their QB if they let Purdy walk. There are teams who haven't had the chance to pay a QB as good as Purdy for the last decade. If Bryce doesn't continue to ascend then the Panthers will be one of those those teams. Ya'll act like passing on a very good QB who fits the coaches system like a glove doesn't have serious repercussions. Who was the last really elite QB for the 49er's? Steve Young, a quarter of a century ago? Fans have some of the most unrealistic expectations that are completely devoid of reality.
  6. yea i actually don't hate that pick, last years draft sucked
  7. You can't even watch a fuging hornets game in charlotte without having some special app, it's insane Ok i'm done
  8. my idea to fix the NBA lottery is to have three team brackets so the three worst teams are bracketed in the top three picks. Worst team with 50% odds, second worse 30% odds and third worse 20%. Then picks 4-6, 7-9, and 9-12 are the same. This would prevent these gigantic leaps teams are taking up the lottery to land generational stars when they had no business going there. The NFL doesn't fear this, why does the NBA- oh wait it's because they need the popular teams to stay good so the league stays relevant
  9. He poo the bed in the playoffs, but true bums can't do what he did last year, no matter the talent around them. He's somewhere between what he was with the Jets and what he was last year, where that is I'm not sure.
  10. i feel similar, it just feels like there is no way out of the basement for the hornets. we would have to get EXTREMELY lucky on a few picks which is hard to do when the NBA routinely screws you out of top talent
  11. It's not only about the draft spots, the scheduling is a huge factor. We already have a tough 2026 schedule by playing the North divisions, that's possibly 7 playoff contenders there and a few true SB contenders between the Lions, Packers, Vikings, Bears, Ravens, Bengals, and Steelers (Browns will still suck lol), while also pulling the AFC West for the 17th game. Let's just say for the sake of argument we are going to be true contenders in 2026 in both scenarios Would you rather go 9-8 and to make the playoffs as the last WC or worst division winner, lose in the first round and then have to add likely the Eagles/Commanders, 49ers/Rams, and Chiefs/Chargers to an already tough schedule because we have a 1st/2nd round finish this year, while picking 19th in the draft (where the worst playoff team picks) or Or lose an extra game to finish 8-9, while ending up in 3rd (obviously need Falcons/Bucs to get a WC spot) and miss the playoffs, but then get to add likely the Cowboys/Giants, Seahawks/Cardinals, Broncos/Raiders to the schedule while picking 13th in the draft (the highest an 8-9 team picked this year). I can understand why some people would just want to go to the playoffs again, and I can't fault that thinking. But I'm always a bigger picture person and looking at what is best for the future of the franchise and winning a SB, not my immediate feelings that game/season. So I'm taking those 3 SIGNIFICANTLY easier games and the 6 better draft spots. If we're a true contender in 2026, those 3 games based on divisional finish could very well be the difference of a 1 vs whatever seed. Right now the top teams in the NFC are the teams who play in places you don't want to have road playoff games at... GB, Detroit, Philly are some of the toughest stadiums to play in, especially if cold weather games for the outdoors ones. Give me the few extra easier games to hopefully make the difference in getting home field advantage. Making the playoffs to just lose in the first round isn't worth the first scenario to me when the alternative is losing maybe one or two more games while looking better while doing so. I can stomach those extra losses in a much improved season when it's for the betterment of our future.
  12. We also watched Cam take Carolina to the SB but how much did his career change when he went to the Pats? See how that works? You create a post just to rag on player on another team just because you hate. You love to do this stuff. I've seen it for a few years. You are one of the main problems on this site. Not just y0u but you're definitely one of them. This topic should be in the nfl general chat. As a mod I would think you would understand that but no. The mods need mods around here. This is for Panther's material. Can a real mod move this thread to it's proper place please?
  13. They were winning with JAG QBs prior to Purdy. They just had an elite overall roster. Now a lot of that roster is quickly aging and they've anchored themselves to a JAG QB on a monster contract. Gonna be tough sledding.
  14. Rooting for Winnipeg tonight. What a poo situation for Scheifele.
  15. I agree 100% people keep talking about how loaded their team was but the star guys are almost always injured and last yearpurdy had no one at all and still put up good numbers. As a panther fan i would be thrilled for purdys worse season wish more people would actually look at his stats u could argue his worse season is better than all but 1 or 2 cam seasons for the panthers. It will be interesting to see how some players do away from purdy i believe he actually makes alot of them better. But all moot if they make the playoffs again this year the contract was worth it
  16. Today
  17. He is a bum. Anyone who had seen NFL QB's for more than a couple of seasons can easily ID that.
  18. Not really. Year after year they find a way to win, even with bad decisions. Maybe its a good contract, maybe its a bad one. The only way to determine if the contract is good is by the results. You're saying its a horrible contract but if he leads them to 3 SBs, I'd call it a great contract. Time will ultimately determine the value.
  19. not the biggest canes fan but I've been watching them more this year, such a fun sport. I'm impressed with how Svetch is playing. (again I'm a noob when it comes to hockey)
  20. Yesterday
  21. We had our close losses last year to playoff teams. Ill take winning any day. Fug a couple draft spots. Gimme a couple more wins and a playoff berth all day
