  1. Past hour
  2. What bothers me more than the 4th down blunder or his inability to slide and overall carelessness with the football, is that every. single. play, Bryce switches something at the line, or redirects a WR or blocker with about 4 seconds on the play clock, then claps in desperation to get the snap before the delay of game penalty. Every. single. play. It's mind boggling he's this out of sync, or the communication between he and DC is that broken. Something like this can be fixed in an off-season, or TC, or even pre-season if DC elected to call plays and put Bryce in the game. But we know that doesn't happen here.
  3. In terms of a multi-year starter... honestly, he's in the conversation. Have their been worse one off starters or guys who have started a few games? Sure. But in terms of a guy who has gone into multiple seasons as the planned franchise QB? I mean... oof. Bryce is up there.
  4. jt0.mp4 Here's where you can see his eyes and when things are happening. As already covered, JT0 wasn't looking at Bryce when Bryce looked his way and had TMac's defender starting to come into the window. At the beginning where you believe he sees JT0 open, he's scanning to see if Chuba's underneath. Chuba also ran a lazy, lazy route here. Regardless, this is a thread about TMac. There are plenty of other Bryce threads to try and carry your crusade in.
  5. Agreed. And I think there would be a lot more talk about it if this franchise were relevant in any way.
  6. I don’t think “worst ever” is hyperbole. Again, there are statistics that he literally has been the worst in league history in for the number of starts he has had. He may have moved up slightly on those, but again, throw in the value that was given up for him, and I think it’s a pretty easy conclusion to make.
  7. Hendon Hooker Your time to shine buddy
  8. When you do, if you remember, quote this post and show me the play where Bryce got hit as he was trying to launch one to T-Mac. The announcers were saying he had broken loose and was going to be open, but they never showed the replay, so I’d be very curious what the back end of the play looked like on that one and if he really had an easy TD with another half second of time for Bryce as they made it seem
  9. We play every other Sunday afternoon from 5/5:30pm to 8-8:30pm. Might run late if we have a big battle or something like that but that's usually the schedule. If you're interested, send me a message on Discord. My username is .thehighduke
  10. I cant think of a worse QB that was given so many opportunities. He's looked atrocious for what 30+ games at this point. Who has looked worse that was given that many starts?
  11. For some reason, over the years since 18/19, there seems to be an association that if you play for Carolina, you collect your check, half ass it, get pats on the back and positive press from the F.O., and then you either fade into obscurity because you're a jag, or you leave and prosper under a system with better leadership, one that is holding players accountable and getting much more out of the player who coasted at Carolina. Whatever option eliminates this stench, this "culture", whatever the hell it is, sign me up for that. My thinking is, unfortunately, as long as Tepper is here, the leadership layers beneath him will be the cucks of the NFL. But if he truly steps back, then you have to can Morgan definitely with the possibility of trashing Canales too, if he (Canales) being here clouds the next GM hire. But seriously, what great football mind(s) and talent evaluator/developer combo wants to come here? We're stuck with scraping the bottom of the barrel when hiring season rolls around.
  12. I don't think either do "Scourton or Princely" but if Princely gains weight I'd have more confidence in him getting it and playing well. Scourton playing end is what tanked his draft stock and why 4-3 teams weren't looking at him.
  13. That was really what it felt. It was like the entire team, Bryce included, were taking turns holding on to the "I will mess this up" stick. Haven't gotten a chance to sit down and really dig into the all-22 like I've wanted, but I remember that being the impression I had after the first half. I missed the first 10min of the second half snoring in the recliner. T_T

That's pretty cool, when do y'all play? I'd be down for sure depending on schedule.
  15. AZ isn’t gonna know what hit them next week. actually, nothing is gonna hit them, cause we can’t tackle
  16. So you’re saying you’d rather have taken a lesser WR or TE because you feel they align better for our awful QB who is likely to be off the team next year as of this moment? Thats how bad teams stay bad. Draft the best players, if your current scrubs can’t use them properly, replace them with better players and build a better roster. T-Mac is the truth, get on board this train or get run over by it.
  17. Rivera started moving to mixed fronts the year before that too. Pretty sure it was a Tepper mandate. Run the 3-4 like the Steelers or else.
  18. I have defended Bryce as much as anyone but it shouldn’t take this long to begin to make your mark. My biggest concern is can this GM and management team pick a QB? I am very skeptical of their talent evaluation abilities.
  19. Not sure how much say Evero has had in choosing our FA defensive players, but if these are guys he wanted, that is a fireable offense alone. It really is a hodgepodge of players that do not complement each other one bit.
  20. I was just thinking about this earlier… I don’t think it’s emphasized enough, how absolutely insane it is that we consciously as an organization decided to go into this season with the most important position on the entire team with his security teetering on what he looks like in the first 4 games or so. Last year, they went in fully committed and still yanked him after 2 bad games. All it took was 2 bad games to bench him after going all-in with him for the season. There was never even a word about that being a possibility until it was already done due to his horrid play. This year, after knowing he had already been benched previously for said horrid play, and public opinion divided on if he’s even an NFL QB, the leash is theoretically even shorter than before. So, Dave, Dan, Bryce, they all know… it’s in the back of all their minds - what is the threshold for him getting benched again? And again, we literally decided to go into the season with that poo hanging over the whole team, all while they tried to peddle that “end of season” stretch bullshit to justify it. Again, all knowing if (for us with brains, “when”) he played bad, the hook is coming. Just fuging insane.
  21. I'm telling you it's a throw to Sanders, look at his feet and the throw coming out of his hand. I'm 100% positive it was not a throwaway. If I made that pass and was asked, id just say I made a boneheaded decision and threw it away... Cause otherwise... Yeeesh
  22. Its not really a secret sauce when you simply pay to have the most expensive line in football. It leads to neglect in other areas. IE defense
  23. Why do we always wait to fire coaches mid-season. Instead of the season before when it’s painfully obvious.
  24. We really haven't run that much 3-4 under Evero - and I would imagine even more so this season since we have inept ILBs. We have played a lot of nickel with an even front and we look just as bad in that as we do in 3-4. The problem is we have had to dedicate so much drafting/free agency signing to offense to try and make Bryce look competent that we have completely neglected the defense and gone bargain bin shopping for most of our players. We aren't going to be able to find good linemen/linebackers quickly, although I do think Scourton and Princely have flexibility in being able to play 4-3 DE or edge rusher OLB (if they develop into starters).
