  1. Past hour
  2. I still enjoy the ronde barber one and here's a saints one too,
  3. You say that now, but watch out when the Panthers start doing this with the QBs too!!1!11!!
  4. I made my judgement before the 2023 draft over what I saw on video and it was just ridiculous with the Bruce advocates using college to speculate all summer long. You can’t successfully argue against it because there are no examples of him playing vs veteran NFL talent. It was really hard to just sit back and watch all the cock sure fapping. All based on college tape. Most of the same people are still fighting that fight though. Don’t believe your lying eyes - I have the stats right here that will prove you didn’t see that.
  5. Dave should be smart enough to get all he can out of Rico as he is auditing and on a hot streak. You don't mess with a hot streak. Ask any successful gambler.
  6. I said it when we signed him. It’s the Shy Tuttle contract but way more expensive all over again
  7. They are getting there. They have beaten the teams they should have, so far. They should have beaten the Cards and would have if Young hadn't spotted then a couple of touchdowns in the 1st quarter. So far his limited play has allowed others to step up and give the rest of the team enough motivation to fight on.
  8. The only question now is how long does it last. Rico is a hell of a runner but staying power for RB's just isn't what it used to be anymore.
  9. Tershawn Wharton looks severely undersized out there as a DT. Never liked that signing.
  10. Obviously he's strugged heavily at times. Hopefully he continues to play better. Regardless at the end of the day his position is dependent on a passer being able to capitalize on every throw on the field. When there are opportunities for plays to be made but the QB won't or can't pull the trigger or simply can't get the ball there that is a big problem too. We need to see development in multiple facets of this passing game and until we see that being created by the most important position on the roster the onus cannot be solely placed on the wide receivers.
  11. He already won it fair and square. Canales just refused to do the right thing
  12. I agree. Again Chubba has just started his 4yr 32mill deal and Rico will be gone to the highest bidder in the off-season. They need to keep Chubba "happy" and he has earned plenty after replacing CMC. I think the best deal is to give this 2 more weeks and reevaluate. If Rico is the clear best RB and they are in the playoff hunt, fug dem egos!!
  13. 7 wins was always the mark I wanted to see reached this season 8-9 would be a huge bonus and really have me believing Sweep Saints, either take another one from Atlanta or steal one against Tampa and we’re at 7 To get to 8-9 we’ll need a legit win or two. Our non divisional games left on our schedule aren’t easy
  14. Hell we lose that game if Jaycee horn doesnt save us
  15. For me, they don't need to beat anyone. I need to see growth in DC and Bryce if he's going to be hanging around. DC's offensive play calls leave me scratching my head a lot and his situational awareness leaves a lot to be desired. I know, he's in year 2, but I'm tired of watching us do things that don't work just because it's his comfort zone. For Bryce, he needs to show he's the franchise week in and out, whether or not he's got a 200 yard back. We don't need a game manager. We need the guy that can throw the team on his shoulder when we've got 30 yards rushing down by 3 scores and not from turnovers.
  16. Their defense is legit. If they had a decent qb we lose that game.
  17. Come on man, you know there is no place for nuanced thinking and analysis here on the huddle. It’s just a bunch of clowns thinking in black or white terms and wanting to beat their chests and scream about how right they are and how wrong everyone else is.
  18. I'd honestly make Chuba our short-yard/goal line RB and let Rico bring our primary back.
  19. I wouldnt go as far as to say hes replacement level, but hes fine at center. he's not some godsend, but he isnt absolute dogshit like Corbett was at center. Frankly when you are building a roster you have to have guys who are just aight at certain positions, you cant afford pro bowlers at every position and hes a fine accordable piece that Id love to keep around for average pay. That said, I got some flack earlier in the week saying I was fine with Corbett starting at guard if theres line injuries, and sure enough there was, and sure enough he played fine. Hes not elite, no where NEAR Lewis or Hunt, but he's alright. Put it this way, Corbett at guard is not a guy you game plan for, but hes not bad, he'll do the job alright and you need those guys....just keep him away from the center spot...dude is trash at snapping the ball.
  20. If your goal is the playoffs and ultimately a SB ring, fug your ego. Do what is best for the team as a whole. Eventually Rico will have an off game or 2 and Chuba will get the bulk. It's just the way it goes.
  21. Keep feeding Rico until he cools off and then play Chuba
  22. He looked very slow. Hoping it’s just knocking the rust off because I’m a huge fan.
