Went through all this with Brandon Miller. There were bitter and I mean bitter back and forth convos and some meltdowns over the pick. I know the Hornets history. I'm not going to sit here and pretend they absolutely made the right pick. Between this franchise and the Panthers the drafts are a house of horrors. I know really bad by now when I see it. With a full perspective and the fact Miller developed Salaun is developing and KJ is developing I'm wait and see mode. He could end up being every single one of the things ya'll say. Or he could be a really good player we just don't know and we may not for awhile.

Wonder how many other former, or even current, Panthers have had kids that has never been announced on here

Don't have to be miss cleo. His weakness are length, athleticism, creating his own shot, defense, finishing at the rim, Strengths - shooting and IQ. Likely won't work as non athletic shooters don't typically work.

Doc LRB started following C Mc. Gotta love this guy!!

I live in Indiana and took a trip that weekend to watch my two friend's teams play (Chiefs and Vikings) IN Minnesota when they were playing at a college field, I think TCF? Anyways, our plan was to watch the game (noon game) then do some shopping at the Mall of America, I wasn't planning on watching the Panthers play Seattle since I was out sight seeing and walking around after the noon game had ended. By the time we were walking back into the Mall the Panthers were down by 2 scores in the 4th or going into the 4th and we were all thirsty from walking around for 2.5 hours after the Vikings game so we decided to postpone shopping until after we ate. We found this nice little sports bar inside the mall that had the game on. Man, I'm so glad we skipped shopping because that was probably the most excited I've been in some time for a win. Beating Seattle in 2015 felt like the "monkey off the back" sort of feeling and I knew we had finally arrived as a team. The entire bar erupted when Cam hit Olsen for that walk off TD. Literally one of the greatest moments of my life. My friend wasn't so happy though lol, by the time the Panthers game ended ALL of the stores inside the mall had closed and he wasn't able to get any souvenirs. It was his first time watching a Vikings game live and making a trip like that so he was legit upset lol. I on the other hand couldn't have been happier.

This is the Buc's division to lose. We come out on top only if the wheels come off if Tampa. I agree we can be--and should be--better than the Saints and likely the Falcons. A 9-8 season would be nice, but it isn't great. It's mediocre and that something the Panthers haven't been in nearly a decade, but would be reason to celebrate. Heck, the Steelers will likely fire Tomlin over a 9-8 season because they are tired of being mediocre. -
First game was a awful stat line. 2nd DNP due to ankle Summer league doesn't help what hes bring, its dang near YMCA pickup game level. I heavily question the type of player he is and his future was NOT, not not not what you use #4 pick on. Hornets got him on visit and still made the pick, they better hope he has some Larry legend in him. I maintain huge questions.

He looks more like a fullback than a WR. -
barely news, reports, or SM on what this guy was able to pull off.

I mean Im a 100% panther fan, I hate all the opponents. If you forced me to rank them based on how much levels of despise. #1 for me is the saints for the most. fug you Brees and Payton and Jordan and whole smelly fan base. 2nd would be ATL, I've never got over that superman TD by vick...... 3rd would be bucs who have owned the division along with having a fraud SB. Most of my feels come from how things were 10-15 years ago.

I don't know about voodoo and "must win" type of games..... Just if the Panthers lose week 1 against the jags, I feel the effect will be nuclear-level bad. I would immediately lose all hope and think this is 2-4 win team. I feel a huge part of the fan base would feel the same. So this is about the most important week 1 in panther history. If they can not beat Trevor who's been the worst QB for years and pitiful jags after training care.......I swear that would erase the whole season type of feels. -
LOL…been 1 summer league game. Yeah, get this guy outta here

Very simple terms with rough numbers. BY is due 10 million over the next 2 years. *(Panthers already gave signing bonus add another 10mill) Kyle is due 100 million over the next 2 years. BY is about to turn 24 years old. Kyle is about to turn 28 years old. Age and money is a complete win for the BY. BUT I bet, if the names are reversed, not one sane thinking panther fan would trade a 10mill 24 year old Kyle for 100mill 28 year old BY. If all was equal, I think the clear better option would be Kyle, no hate just plain facts. Kyle has the superior arm and better athletically. BY seems to have a better focus and care for his craft, but last year's comments hurt. Still better than Kyle not caring about knowing the plays in playbook while he's playing 4,000 hours of COD. Guess what, very very soon BY will need a new contract........ It could be higher than kylers 46mill per....unless BY wins the SB MVP you can count me out of paying him anything around 50million per. At those numbers, just draft one. IMO BY deserves what another 1st overall pick recently got- Baker 3 year 100 million is about it for last 9 game BY.

It's good to know we've got a couple of Ms Cleo clones in here that already know the future careers of Kon and Ace after 2 summer league games. Let me get the winning powerball numbers too when you get some free time thanks.

You know there's a preseason right?
-
Just objectively speaking, I don’t know how Kon was projected Top 5. Historically, those are picks either of the guaranteed franchise player or high-boom/high-bust potential ilk. Nothing about Kon is high-ceiling. As carpan said, looking at him, he fits the spot-up shooter backup mold. That just boggles my mind that he got boosted up to Top 5. I don’t see the value at all. He must have a hell of an agent.
-
They had Bailey or Johnson sitting there for them. Both better prospects than Kon.
-
Shades of not getting Davis and settling for MKG. Missed on Cooper settled for kon. The ghosts of Ammo, Kaminsky, Felton, May, etc… haunt this franchise.
-
Im not saying Bryce is better but to act like Murrays supporting casts sucks when Hopkins, McBride, and Marvin Harrison Jr are all better than any pass catchers the panthers have put on the field for Bryce in his career thus far is wild to me. Kliff Kingsbury all of a sudden looked like a better offensive mind once he was working with Jayden Daniels instead of Murray.
-
I agree that he needs games and that he was extremely underwhelming in the first game. But spacing out the games makes a lot of sense as he is getting back from that injury. Give him a few days to make sure there are no setbacks etc.

Surprise! Kon looks really bad!

My issue is if he’s injured enough to miss GAME 2 of summer league, then why did he play game 1? He needs the reps, he was absolutely horrible in game 1. He looked like he didn’t even belong in the NBA. So either sit him until October and let him get healthy, or throw him out there every chance possible to let him develop vs the speed and size of this league. There’s no such thing as half pregnant. -

I'm glad we didn't do this. https://www.facebook.com/NFLonCBS/videos/1177156331120032/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v This man looks like somebody's uncle at the cookout six beers deep talking about how he's gonna show these kids how he did it back in the day. LOL This dude looks washed as fug. -
I'm assuming it's probably more frustration about the fact that organizationally as a whole our players are oft injured
