Like I said, I give him a pass on that first season. I just don't think any QB would have been successful given the coaching. I look at bryce and see what he did last season after his benching. Apparently everyone else looks at Bryce in 2023 and 2025 only. We all see what we want to see.

Now that made me laugh hahaa -
It doesn't work that way sir. You cannot create a thread expect logical honest discussion and then pick and choose which of his 32 career starts you want to evaluate his entire body of work on. 2023 his YPA was 5.5 For 2025 so far his ypa is 5.4. 5.8 is the average and that is being kind if I'm being honest.

Somewhat OT - This franchise forgot what it felt like to have an elite talent on defense that helped create the whole unit's je nes sais quoi. Moehrig hasn't shown it yet. Horn doesn't give me that; he's a top 10-CB at his best, but I don't get the sense he's this guy who just elevates the unit. Same goes with DB. All seem like strong assets moving forward, but it shows with our defensive output being sh*t. You need at least 2 of those tenacious vocal leaders and captains. It is MIA entirely from defense (although I think Princely and Ransom are interesting) I know you need the talent, but they just don't seem to elevate around them much.

Bryce's best season is still Billy Joe Tolliver. You can't remove everything but his best games and not do the same thing to everyone you're comparing him against. Isn't this getting out of hand? Why can't we just accept what we've seen for 30 something games?

Take it for what it’s worth, maybe kicking the tires? I truly hope we don’t do it without an extension first.
-
So the WRs are the reason Bryce cant attempt a Hail Mary?
-
Or damn what about the complete opposite of the blacks? So all white and the double flag logo? I think that might look awesome. Then the original logo would just be on the red ones.

I think multiple things can be true. 1. Panthers need to move on from Bryce, who isn't good enough. 2. Bryce will almost assuredly go somewhere else and be way better, we will get dragged through the media, but that's just the way things are. 3. The Panthers will draft a QB who will be pretty bad to average, and we will repeat the process all over again and look for another QB in 4 years. This is just who we are as a franchise. This is why you build for defense not offense, and hope you get lucky with a Jake or Cam type that can give you just enough on offense

I am sure you are including his first year under Reich. You know, the previously fired HC that was then also fired 10 games into Bryce'srookie season. Not really sure it's fair to include those but I suppose it helps your arguement. To help my arguement, I looked at his ypa since his benching and for his second year, it was 6.73. Drew Brees for comparison was 6.2 his second year and 5.9 his third year so I don't think your stat is a good indicator of future success.

Yeah I always viewed him as a guy who would be a quality enough complimentary piece at LB. Don't think he was some top-LB but was good enough to hold the defensive locker room together and serve his role well. Funny enough, I think the young version of him in the league right now is the guy the Bills are hoping he helps develop in Dorian Williams who had a decent 2024. A B who would have more A moments than C moments, but was never sub-C.

Shaq was an okay LB and a good leader as the years went on. He just got drafted right when Gettleman had begun to dismantle a Super Bowl roster. He never really got the chance to experience a non rookie season with that core beyond 2018 and that was the season that slammed the door shut. After that we already know how the story goes and it isn't pretty.

Nah that's too high. As of right now his career yards per pass attempt sits at 5.8. Which is the same as Joey Harrington who is 215 out of 215 all time in yards per pass attempt. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/pass_yds_per_att_career.htm

I mean 30 years and ZERO back to back winning seasons. The fan base has a right to be mad. It's also no surprise the fan base hasn't been built up with that in mind. -

Stroud with our o line, run game, Tet and Canales able to fully use the playbook we are 2-0 right now. Texans are still 0-2 with Bryce.
