  3. Not totally inaccurate, haha Except that kid wasn't as excited as I was. I was yelling louder, and more, and running around the room in circles until I almost passed out from exhausting and was trying to catch my breath for a good 10 minutes because I'm way too old to be doing that, LOLOL Oh, and I tweaked a muscle in my shoulder from all the punching the air I was doing too. For as awesome as that pick was for me, it really screwed me up for a few days between my shoulder and lost voice (Wrexham securing back-to-back-to-back promotions Saturday afternoon contributed to that though too).
  4. Getting Pierce jr isn’t forfeiting the pick they just had 2 1sts this year.
  5. Full disclosure and the real reason.... I'll be seeing my Nephew in basically one month from today, and while I've gotten him stuff from my other teams the past year, I hadn't been willing to saddle him with Panthers stuff yet, that's now changed lol. So if the jersey would get to me before I see him, I'd get that and him his first Panthers onesie/shirt so I can get a picture of us together in them. If it wouldn't get to me by then, I'd just wait to get the one I prefer. So yea, my rush is really just about trying to get a picture of myself in it with my Nephew in Panthers gear too.
  6. https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-add-mapalo-mwansa-through-international-player-pathway CHARLOTTE — Mapalo "Maz" Mwansa has achieved a dream he didn't even know he had until recently. If you google his name, one of the first results is for his LinkedIn page for his accounting job—well, his former accounting job. The defensive end was signed by the Carolina Panthers this week through the NFL's International Player Pathway program.
  7. Gotta get them before the tariffs hit
  8. Shaq was supposed to be TD's successor as an 4-3 outside linebacker next to Luke
  9. Just wait. Why the hurry? Every draft pick jersey across the league is in pre order status. With as much as you love him just get the other color too when it becomes available
  10. He was seated right next to Morgan, looked to be in the thick of things when picks were being made, and I even saw him dialing the number for at least one guy we were drafting. If this draft works out, we may have a new process of selecting players. Analytics like Eager's may change how scouting is done (or what is asked of scouts) in the future. Data processes the player, scouts may analyze the person.
  11. I need Caps and Panthers to win for my bet. So at least one of those won’t happen.
  12. TB just tied Flahda 2-2. I want the panthies and Craps to go to a game 6.
  13. Yea, they've "confirmed the number" but that is a generic disclaimer they use, it doesn't mean the jerseys will be shipped out in 2-4 weeks from now already (it also doesn't mean they won't either). My guess is they'll start being shipped out a week or two after they start being sold in the team store, I can't see them shipping pre-orders before the store has them. So if they're not in the store yet despite them confirming his number like 3-4 days ago already, then I wasn't going to order it yet as the blues and/or better version may become available by then, which is what I'd prefer. As I'd be kinda frustrated if I bought the black on pre-order now, and then in a few weeks when they still haven't shipped yet, they then start selling the blues and/or better quality versions of them and those ship out all at the same time anyways.

  15. during the draft I had concerns....after the draft and reading about our picks, I feel very good. There was a lot of love for our draft this year, and we're not used to that. Last year was not so much but if Legette grows, and if Brooks can get healthy and stay that way, and Sanders develops, it was a good draft. But I just feel different this year, more confidence than ever, but it's that time of the year....every fan of every time is feeling better about who they pull for. That said, I'm liking Morgan a lot right now. It won't be hard for him to become our best GM ever....low bar. But he can set it higher.
  16. Even though he's been injured the last 2 seasons, he was still a starter for 8 years. He had a pretty productive career for a guy that never made any pro bowls. I wouldn't say his career was cut short.
  17. Being bad has been a very big, huge part of it, but yes, boring too.
  18. I think it was better than last year's. I still wouldn't call it great. I would say pff loved it and we took high pff guys because Eric Eager's fingerprints were all over this draft. I think that's a good thing.
  19. Mason Graham got pranked, so did Tyler warren. Im sure if you asked others, they got "pranked", some by their real friends.......
  20. That is a good point. Ill add to it, Shaq was a trail blazer about LBs that can cover. He started that trend, partly due to what you said above-size. Plus he was a safety at one point in college or had lots of snaps there. It's almost 50/50 split I think about what you need from a LB. I mean the NFL is 62ish % pass last I checked. Side Bar- I have friends in the strength community and one of them had a mutual friend that knew "House" and his staff. Once every month if he heard a story about panther, he'd toss me a bone. He said the House and others just loved Shaq, called him a leader. Always in early and would workout after practice. He was not lazy at all, help set a standard among other young players. Dam shame when house got fired, no more weight room stories..
