Not a bad game. Had a nice comeback and still in it. -
They were giving those PFF analytics a priority...

I think they have totally tied themselves to BY9. Good luck with that. If Dan can get that defense really stout he may be able to survive an offensive overhaul. -

I think a couple of these will turn out better than a quick first impression might indicate. Specifically the GB guy. I mean, that team and organization is depleted of talent and kind of headed towards the bottom. But I think the dud has some skills. Head coach in college, with NFL cred too. Tough situation he is taking on. And I hate to say, Atlanta. Stefanski might be unleashed lol. Still has a QB deficit though. He’ll get a ton of owner support I think. Blank badly wants Matt Ryan to succeed. I was cold on Tennessee but they are requiring Saleh to hire an experienced OC and they have some pieces on defense. It might be a little better than I expected at first. Won’t be great anytime soon though. Harbaugh is proven and a lot of the NFC East is pretty shaky. I think Baltimore could have fuged up. They apparently are allowing their QB to rule the roost and that ia really a suspect strategy. OTOH that QB is very potent on the field and could make a mediocre coach look decent. I am close to there on Buffalo, as far as did they fug up. I am not real optimistic for them, but could be totally wrong. Pittsburg is the most interesting because of their incredible hiring success. One of these times it ain’t gonna work out so smooth for them. I mean they are kind of due. Will it be this time? Arizona? Graveyard. Las Vegas? Probably the same thing. But they might resurrect NE mojo in the desert. I guess it could happen. -

National tv and charlotte don't mix -
Whatever was working last year for the draft, they need to replicate that going forward. Proud of the young guys and I'm excited to see their jump in year 2

As the IU fan resident on this board I am on board with drafting Fisher. Leader of the defense. He was one of the first guys Cig brought over from JMU. Give me D'Angelo Ponds for nickel CB as well. Both of these guys are the definition of Dawg Morgan is looking for.
-
I feel that the combine will send his stock up the board--I think he would be a great second-round pick.

Luke is also from Cincinnati. They are about the same size. They both run/ran under 4.6. Both smart. Both have pets but rarely talk about them. Too eerie.

There is an attempt to paint Bryce as having a much tougher path vs Cam. 2011 vs 2023 teams. Makes Young look better. I thought it was pretty clear, especially when you look at where it is coming from. I reject it, as usual.

In Dan I trust. 3 of the top 6 were NFC South teams. The South may yet rise again in the not so distant future.

This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)

All I'm saying is that CJ isn't showing much. If Bryce doesn't pan out, then the Panthers need to draft someone else. Trading for CJ isn't the answer to our problem. - Today

Honestly, given what I read in the ESPN article, it's hard to think any of them are worse than Las Vegas currently. -

I am pointing out that the parade of excuses sounds about like a typical Bryce stan. The point isn't poor play. We all see QB's do that. We never saw a Peyton game where he had absolutely zero idea what to do, like he did against Pittsburgh and New England. Mark my words, this is something to watch next season.

I’ve seen mock drafts have us picking the OSU DT Kayden McDonald. If he is BPA I’m for it. I still remember the days we had Short and Star anchoring our DLine on the best Panther defense. https://catcrave.com/panthers-forecasted-baffle-fans-with-first-round-decision-2026-nfl-draft

Not the best year to need a HC. I haven't heard much about the Texans DC getting any looks -

I have not seen a good fit yet as a HC hire. Honestly, Saleh is probably the best one and that’s not saying much. Miami- Hired a DC with an average defense. Check the rest of his resume. It also doesn’t solve your main problem at QB with Tua/Ewers, etc. Clear downgrade from Mike McDaniel. The owner obviously thought he had a shot at Harbaugh and fired McDaniel to throw his hat in, Waller has an interview that gives the impression of this. Atlanta- Stefanski has won like 6 games in 2 years. Carried a few years ago by his defense. Defense has gotten older and he got exposed. Brought into Atlanta with a DC he didn’t hire. No idea what they are going to do at QB, no 1st round pick, a lot of resigning. Oh and their Dan Morgan/John Lynch/ John Elway guy is Matt Ryan who has not worked in the front office at all. At least Dan was a scout, director, asst GM, etc. New York-Not bad really but he’s only going to be as good as his OC. Joe Schoen is still the guy getting your talent, and good luck playing Dak Prescott, The Eagles D, and Jayden Daniels 6 times per year with the NY media writing about everything you’ve done wrong. Tennessee- meh. Probably should have gotten an OC to develop Ward but Saleh can at least make this team aggressive and physical again. I doubt many wanted the job. If Saleh fixes the culture and gets a decent play caller he will be okay. The GM there seems promising. If I had to rank the rest of the openings I’d say: 1-Pittsburgh: Enough talent to be competitive. Have some things to fix at key positions but long history of success and winning is in that building. Plus, you get Baltimore and Cleveland twice per year (I’ll get to that). 2-Baltimore: What in the ever living hell makes you think it’s time to walk away from Harbaugh. He didn’t leave like Tomlin, you fired him then the owner joked about it at the press conference. Who did you ever think you were going to get better than him. Somebody to support Lamar? Like drive him to the practices he never attends? 3-Buffalo I mean you get Josh Allen but they promoted Beane to be their Morgan and if you watched the Press Conference today the owner made Tepper look like Arthur Blank. Basically said he fired McDermott just over losing to the Broncos. Beane got up there and poo on a few players. The two leading candidates are Joe Brady, your current OC and Brian Daboll, your former OC who just got done running a circus on the other side of the state. Like the Ravens, who did you think you would get that was better? 4-Las Vegas Spytek seems competent as a GM and Brady is in the building but there is a real stink culture built into that organization that somebody is going to eventually have to fix. It seems like everyone that gets close (Gruden, Carroll, Pierce) gets fired. At least you have a shot with a potential Franchise QB in Mendoza. 5-Arizona Gannon just collapsed. Don’t know what happened, but it seems like Kyler is gone with no real plan in place. Maybe resign Brissett? Maybe take another down year and just rebuild the roster? Who really knows. I don’t see them having any shot landing a big fish, I honestly forget they don’t have a HC half the time. 6-Cleveland There’s a reason McCarthy and McDaniel turned them down. Still have Watson on the books. Have to deal with the Shaduer fans and haters. Aging defense. Don’t imagine Schwartz will stay on as DC if he is turned down, so there that goes. Honestly, I think Schwartz by the only guy that wants the job.

I hate it -
One QB had one of the worst rookie years of all time so he couldn't GET any worse than what he was. The improvement is the equivalent of a bottom 20 qb in the league and one 3k passing yard season which just matches the other qbs bad year.... so it isnt saying much. Yeah Its logic but its also no context applied.
