They really work themselves up. Its so overdramatic.

PantherChris started following Moton extension. 2 more years, $44M
-
Its the usual suspects what do you expect?
-
He isn't worth a 3rd, more like a 6th or 7th. That isn't the point though. We would be trading our best WR for a 4th? A 4th that is likely to be a special teams/PS player or out of the league in a couple of seasons.
-
I mean, Carolina in their negotiations should have had the Vikings put Howell in their deal. Give AT, get the 4th and Howell…..then negotiate eating cap or a pick swap if needed.
-
Yeah, something is definitely up. He is either a real dum-dum or a locker room cancer or something. The talent level doesn't match the results.
-
I hope you all can see Tic Tock Videos Cooper Dejean says his welcome to the NFL Moment was against Carolina playing against Adam lol
-
Yet he keeps being traded away by teams who just traded for him to be their backup....for less than they gave up to acquire him
-
Draft at 4pm today.

The trade we need to make right now per Enzo Flojo

Can we trade nick Scott for him - Today
-
He has a live arm, and if you don't have one of the top backup QB's in the league who could start for a few teams, that's the type of backup you want to have as they might make mistakes, but they're also going to make a few plays too.

He can play football as his rookie season shows. Whether it's his desire or just horrible usage, nothing has translated since then. I wouldn't mind a trade for him to see if a change of scenery could improve anything, but I wouldn't offer anything substantial. Late round pick or a oline we're likely going to cut anyway. -
Howell is not a starter, but a decent backup. He's kind of in the same mold of Hurts athletically, so if he does miss time, they don't have to tweak the offense to a backup that's polar opposite skill set of their stater. It makes sense to me.

Falcons with Major Offensive Line Injuries to Start the Season
Camp Fodder replied to Seltzer's topic in Carolina Panthers
Too bad we don’t have a pass rush to take advantage of it -
He seems like a decent enough #2. It's been an incredibly odd career arc.
-
He's not a good nfl qb. Its that simple.
-
He's not very good. Its surprising he keeps getting trade interest

Totally different situations, those teams were ready to move on from those players and were shopping them. We aren't looking to trade Thielen, the Vikings are in serious need for a WR who can play a meaningful role Week 1 and have a significant connection with Thielen of course. Honestly, if the Vikings were to announce to the league that they are trading their 3rd rounder for the best WR offered to them, how many better players than Thielen would they get offered? It's not like teams are usually trying to trade away startable WRs at this time of the year. We just happen to also be in a unique situation where yea, Thielen is our starting slot WR, but Renfrow might just be more effective this year anyways and the hope is that either of them are our 4th best WR this year as well. Thielen is the leader of our very young WR room, I'm not trying to trade that away for a fair value trade, you need to make it worth it to us, and a 4th rounder next year really isn't a ton of value, it's hopefully a backup player in 26 who might be able to carve out a role in 27. I'm not saying he's worth a 3rd, I'm just saying that unless it's that high, I don't see the value in trading him for a draft pick. But a LB or DB that will play meaningful snaps this year is still my preference, if we're giving up a player who will play meaningful snaps for them on offense, give us one on defense for him.

2 weeks ago he was this amazing steal

The Panthers make bad teams look good. It's a magical power we have.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46063756/sources-vikings-add-carson-wentz-trade-sam-howell-eagles Man, what is the deal with Howell? Is he a nutcase or something? This is his 4th team and he is going into his 4th year in the NFL. I don't understand.

Josina Anderson: Panthers NOT trading Adam Thielen

I'm just tired of ppl saying he's so accurate and then have to see recievers slow down to recieve the ball, ruining any chance at YAC -

Some people will really look at stuff like this and say "no more excuses" but then make excuses to try and explain away the validity of big-time throws. Back on topic though, as I mentioned in the other AT thread earlier, I hope that the team is still exploring the deal. If the Vikings want the Panthers to take on some of the salary, then it had better be at worst a 4th-round pick (though I imagine Dan angling for a 3rd). If they're willing to take on all of it, then maybe at worst a 5th. Tough pill to swallow, giving up a 4th for a 35yr old WR, but if MIN believes they can have similar success behind McCarthy then it could be a smart deal for them. Hell, if AT has any gas in the tank and gives them a 1yr sweetheart deal to close out at home, even better for Minnesota. Yea, Bryce loses his best and most reliable WR. Hunter Renfrow though isn't what I would call a huge step down though (if he's as advertised throughout camp), and it gives more reps to TMac + XL + Coker. This season is all about continued development and answering some of the looming questions (Is Bryce the guy? Is Evero the DC going fwd? How do the young WRs develop? How long does it take this defense to bounce back from being historically awful?).
