  2. NFL is starting a flag football league. Perfect for Bryce he excels when he can’t be touched. You might be right.
  3. Did Brees give people a heart attack every time he was sacked, thinking now the ball will come out and recoved by the other team... Don't know how many times BY losing the ball have been saved by penalties. Feels like it might be an achievable NFL record for him. Anyone finding his stats for losing the ball, lost, saved by penalties or recovered? Does the stat fumble include stripsack or similiar reason for the ball to come 'out' or is it just a "run stat" and not a "qb stat"??
  4. Quality of win matters. An example of absurdity. Would the team be more improved winning an entire season facing off against high school teams or losing against NFL teams. The answer is obvious. NFL teams would require more innovation, more ingenuity, more preparation, more work. That's why losing but improving your quality is more important than just winning without necessarily improving.
  5. I will say that Brees and Young are similar athletes, in that they aren't particularly athletic.
  6. He will be the drew Brees of some random indoor league somewhere. Or Tepper might just make him his pool boy
  7. I literally almost turned the game off Sunday on that first fumble. I keep saying it, but he literally looks like someone who just stepped into the field for the first time playing QB. It reeks of someone who is trying way too hard to make something happen, but lacks the skills or ability to do it. The number of times he has gotten squared up, jukes one way, jukes the other, and then it’s like his brain can only supply so much power to the physical before it shuts off mid-play and is like, “fug it, just let go of the ball” - I have never seen it happen to a player more than once, IF EVEN ONCE. He does that poo multiple times a season for 3 seasons now. It’s unreal.
  8. Yeah, a guy suddenly balling out in a contract year only to revert back to his career norm after getting paid is a tale as old as sports contracts.
  9. It’s like having a fuging Ferrari and then trading it in for a fuging Ford Focus on 3 spares and a blown transmission.
  10. From my perspective the best way to develop a guy is to have consistency at the coaching position, switching head coaches and coordinators every year just seem to break a lot of guys
  11. Oh for sure. The "change of scenery" leading to wildly different results is the exception not the norm. Yeah, it does happen but it relies on a lot of dominoes falling correctly. Right player, right time, right situation in terms of system, surrounding talent, etc.
  12. Simply trying to point out the list of failed qbs is far far greater then the ones that switch teams and magically are good
  13. They're failing for different reasons. Wilson oozes arm talent. It's just hard to find a parallel for Bryce because honestly guys as physically limited as him aren't drafted highly and rarely get starting opportunities, certainly not for 30+ games.
  14. After watching Canales speak, reading the beat writers and hearing mike kaye on KB show I am absolutely bracing myself for them picking up his 5th and bringing Dalton back next year.
  15. Its also hard to evaluate for us especially during the regular season because with Rods system we can plug any goalie that isnt an absolute dumpster fire in back there and win because they won't face a ton.
  16. The Chargers didnt make the move because he sucked, it was because of his shoulder
  17. Bryce young will have a Zach Wilson career arc I doubt it will be on the Panthers
  18. Its also hard to evaluate for us especially during the regular season because with Rods system we can plug any goalie that isnt an absolute dumpster fire in back there and win because they won't face a ton.
  19. I put $500 on the Canes to lift the cup this year at +750
  20. I don't get your point. Bryce is in year three. I would kill to trade Bryce for any of those quarterbacks you mentioned, even Williams.
