  1. Past hour
  2. Our number for 2026 is 40,000,000. The 2025 is for this league year which we are carrying over. Yeah. There are a lot of ways to double that. Go to sport trac or over the cap and mess it with. Can restructure a few of our higher contracts into void years and convert to bonuses. Can also do the same when signing guys. Give them a bonus up front and spread it out. Trust me the Saints go into every season at like -80 million. I predict we will be in the 80-90 million range when Dan/Brandt are done.
  3. Exactly. I would take Hamilton over..... none of these 6.
  4. I hope he’s ready to watch some film with Dave and Brad
  5. I think the basically entire improvement as a team was largely just the difference Brown and Jackson made. O pretty much was about the same. D made a huge jump off the work of 2 players.
  6. I always assumed the 3-4 was Reich’s call because that’s what he ran in Indy and if I remember right, I don’t think we interviewed a DC from a 4-3 scheme
  7. I guess my memory is worse than I thought. Besides being old with a declining short term memory, I have been focusing on offense when I hunt down the videos and review. Seeing that as the critical unit right now. I am a bigger fan of defense, but haven’t really been in critique mode for them in the Bryce era. And the missed tackles, I wasn’t referring to them. Just blown coverages, which I thought happened more in the early part of the year. With a poo memory maybe I missed that.
  8. How can any team look at BY and think our assistant QB coach could solve their problems
  9. Or in the Saint's case (when they had Brees) - Dead cap and cap space don't exist...
  10. “If your not confused you don’t understand the situation”
  11. Honestly don't think it could have been much better now that I look at it. Receiver had time to gather himself and decide how he wanted to catch it, and then proceeded to let it go through his hands. He could have come back to it, he could have slid and bodied it, he could have caught it with fingers pointed down, so many options. I mean the QB could have put it out in front of him and maybe he would have had to speed up, reach out away from his body, dive, or jump for it. None of that. Just slow down and catch the ball.
  12. The more I look at this EDGE class and the possibility that Sonny Styles may be gone before our pick, the more I'm liking the idea of drafting Kadyn Proctor at #19. Even if Ickey comes back good to go we'll soon have a need at RT as well.
  13. A few players on the team are limbo like KK. the core guys love him and I’m sure that is hanging over their heads. The blue line is mess with Slavin going in and out. The goalie situation sucks and over time, even great leaders and coaches voice runs its course. I fear the later is starting to happen.
  14. Who would he replace? Out of Slavin, Miller, Walker, Boom, Ghost, or Chatty?
  15. I dont recall ever watching him play but after the highlight vids and his scouting report he seems like he is oozing with potential. Rocket arm that is deadly on deep throws but not very good short/intermediate. Seems like that could improve with scheme and coaching. fug it get him in the 4rth I really liked allar going into this year but man he was upside down most of the year. It was a dysfunctional team for sure but he just didnt look good at all during the season. I still like his skill set though
  16. I just took a look on the google (which doesn’t lie) and it says he was the assistant QB coach/passing game specialist this past year and now he’s been promoted to passing game game coordinator. Not sure what the difference is other than title and probably a few more $$$.
  17. Three years straight of crap to start the year. For sure everyone, even his stans, will be sweating that again in 2026. I wasn’t that worried about our record even this year, but they have given me reason to put more importance on it next year. I have a long standing policy to discount opening week performance as a barometer for the year, but when it is so bad I forget about that and go straight to &($#% mode.
  18. How can you forget Nick Scott's blown coverages and missed tackles? He negated any positive that Jackson may have contributed.
  19. Jackson sure did have a nice year. What a deal we made bringing that guy in. Their communication seems to have taken a little while to gel. when you have new guys, that is probably a price you pay until it isn’t. Doesn’t seem like we had as many out and out coverage snafus this year as in 2024. Maybe I have forgotten some from earlier in the year…
  20. Just feels like Allar is the type of guy we'd target, but after watching one Youtube highlight video of the Arkansas guy.....I miss that type of QB dynamism.
  21. Don't be surprised if it doesn't go down pretty close to that except the RB in the first. I would have to see the group behind him.
  22. I think the improvement came with Jackson's contribution. He had a really good season and it made the whole group look better. Horn was relatively quiet all season.
  23. UFL. Well, tear it up fellas. Be rooting for you. NFL needs a minor league like NFL Europe. Guys that would never have had a shot were enabled by the opportunity to play and develop. Warner and Jake were on the same team. Young guys that are backups get no game reps in the NFL unless someone gets hurt. Good for the coaching pool too.
  24. This is a drop. Edit: it doesn't matter if it's the most perfectest throw, this is catchable. Or it looked like it live and looks like it here.
