They have some controversy going on with the staff and Penis. Fans and media are killing the coaching staff. I think. I saw even Sean Salisbury loudly and profanely ranting against their handling of the young QB. He is on the periphery not a big Falcon guy and he is all fired up. I looked around YouTube videos and because it was Panthers vs Falcons a lot of homer Falcons stuff came up. They are not very happy down there. Who knows….

Unless something has changed over the past week. I do not see us controlling the game like we did in week 3. Atlanta, though out of the playoffs, is playing much better than we are. Plus it is in Atlanta. I am not holding any hope of winning this game.

ESPN's Benjamin Solak on Panthers QB situation
Pejorative Miscreant replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Currently we have a very limited starting QB, an approaching retirement limited backup, and whoever the 3rd string guy is this week. - Today

I didn’t realize Lance had started and won a few games. I still like Willis better but having actually played some does make Lance more appeal able. -
Okay Bryce has had success vs Atlanta in Atlanta, and the week to week up down pattern we have seen says we are due for an up. And actually the home winning streak has flipped we now have a road winning streak. You guys can figure it out I know better than to gamble against Vegas and the replay officials.

If we'd beaten the saints I would 100% be sure we'd lose. Now ... I'm not sure. I half expect us to pull out a sloppy win where Bryce isn't as ass as usual.

I feel like early in the season we saw a few great YAC efforts by TMac where he caught the ball able to make a move. It's just really hard to do that with how limited the passing game is.

Yeah im running with a Vet next year and going QB in the 2027 draft. Id love a Ohio State LB this draft
-
Its more the defense or lack there of..... Our goalies are saving right at expected goals we are hemmoraging high danger chances

Whicj is exactly what I'm doing every time I see an errant throw or a ball that's so badly placed that slows down momentum (both of which I see a lot). And I'm not even talking "down the field" per sé. If he could hit T-Mac in stride on some intermediate passes, it would allow T-Mac to get markedly more YAC.

Stop scapegoating passing game's failures on the receivers
TD alt replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
T-MAC has a great catch radius and was known to make circus catches. Of course he's going to catch some badly placed balls, but even his his potential is suffering due to bad ball placement as is evidenced by his outward frustration with said terribly placed balls. As for zero desire to be in the NFL...you're going too far. That is your "truth," not X's. For you to say such a thing is ludicrous. -

Also I know the timelines don't match up, but he doesn't have the burden of that insane trade up we did for Bryce lol. I know some Bryce lovers want people to move on from that, but it's always going to be a factor in determining the bust level between him and anyone else we critique. Fields was just an average #11 pick, only knock on the Bears trying that in hindsight was they passed on Micah Parsons. The Panthers on the other hand really screwed the whole team and future draft picks up wasting like at least 4 years of our football watching lives. -

Yea those numbers don’t tell the whole story, but I’d take Fields just based off those stat lines. Which is awful because Fields is hopeless as a passer. But he has a higher completion percentage, YPA, and TD/int ratio. Plus the rushing yards and fewer fumbles. Lol. -
Mendoza is the only QB remaining that I have few questions about. Simpson is solid - nothing that compelling that makes me think he’d be worth it. Sellers ceiling is nice, but his floor could be a never developing “project” type. That Cincy QB I heard about looked pretty bad. Maiava has been looking solid

Stop scapegoating passing game's failures on the receivers

All that same bad ball placement seems ro be working a lot better to TMac. The truth is, XL has zero desire to be in the NFL. -

I think XL will be out of the NFL inside 3 years. -
Panthers Fan 69 started following Goalie play sucks

Canes need more. Freddie Kooch and Buss aren’t playing well. Trade?

Jeez the first clip he had like 5 seconds and at least 3 open targets lol. -

I mean it would have been a lot cheaper for the same result. Per these stats I don't really get why Fields is actually lower lol. Plus a lot more traits for the "QB whisperer" to work with. Also the Jets sold at the trade deadline to tank so their defense is complete shite at this point. -
Yea hes looking washed unfortunately
-
There was no way they were letting him have a losing Super Bowl record. 1-3 was never in the cards.
-
I thought this guy did a good job. It is kind of long but I liked it.
-
Hey, at least we didn't sign Justin Fields...
-
Smaller and significantly less athletic.
-
But it would be nice to have a goalie that’s number 1
