Europe will come eventually. Trying to figure out if it'd best be four teams (two NFC, two AFC) or eight teams (NFC Europe, AFC Europe) and how it'd play out in terms of schedule and playoffs I'd say that it would likely happen with an extension to an 18 week regular season, giving all teams two bye weeks to recover from overseas travel as all teams will be required to play internationally at least one game every year. More likely two. I imagine the NFL schedule maker team (great video of their process posted on the YouTube) have already run through all sorts of example scenarios to see what is/isn't possible in the future

The question was disrespectful and probably caught him off guard -
I actually hope this happens. It means we don’t have as many holes as you think. Just address the QB position in free agency and the Draft.

I think he'd likely look better. But remember last year when Thielen and Coker, and even JT, has us thinking they had potential? XL was dropping easy balls even then. -
If we are looking in the later rounds, Haynes King is the guy. Big arm, great mobility, and let's be honest he has the clutch gene. I think he is totally underrated.

It's disappointing that he at least didn't have the awareness to lie. Even if what he says is true surely he has to understand it comes across terribly. He's been performing terribly so at least say that missing a couple weeks with a sore hammy has given me the chance to really dive into the playbook again and get more comfortable with my understanding of the overall offensive scheme. Anything sounds better than basically saying these last couple weeks have been an utter waste. -
With the 1st Pick in the 2026 Draft....
LinvilleGorge replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
He's basically a Dillon Gabriel/Stetson Bennett level prospect at the NFL level. But every now and then one of those guys turns out to be Brock Purdy. -

Canales in his press conferences
electro's horse replied to ProcessBlue2's topic in Carolina Panthers
None of it is explicitly stated but there are multiple moments during his story where I was like “excuse me what?” and then at one point Izzy recalls yelling in a fight and making some comment about how much Dave loves cigars with the guys but like it’s said in a way that would stop a dinner party like…..it’s cringey -
Dave and Nicole Tepper.

When I googled this, the first result was a huddle thread…lol.

New York Times: Is Panthers QB Bryce Young a Lost Cause
CPF4LIFE replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think its so funny how everbody makes a big red flag deal about Dillon Gabriels size who is taller and bigger then bryce but somehow those things aren't supposed to be a issue for bryce. -
People have no idea how bad Matt really was behind the scenes.

With the 1st Pick in the 2026 Draft....
LinvilleGorge replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, people talk about the crazy offseason of his rookie year and what he could've done with a normal offseason but I honestly think it kinda helped him and us. Cam was just so different than any other QB in the league at that time that we were kinda able to just take the league by storm offensively early on because in part because of the crazy offseason not allowing our early opponents to prepare for specifically for Cam and we did a good job in the preseason of not showing anything we planned to actually unleash once the games started for real. -
rookie Cam was just such an anomaly....it would have been a problem for all these bad teams we got early. Cam actually had a tougher opening schedule in hindsight and was still a problem for those folks. Only 3 of the opening 8 finished w/ losing records

With the 1st Pick in the 2026 Draft....
LinvilleGorge replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't honestly know if the record would be any different but I do know that we'd be competing. We wouldn't be going out there and just getting dog walked. -
Rookie Cam would have faired well with this opening schedule of 2025. Probably 3-4 wins through the first 7 games. Cam auto increases the odds for more explosive pass plays (we are the worst in the NFL). The arm and play extension is in a different universe. And Cam paired w/ a solid RB is just a problem for a defense. So Cam auto improves a bad D because Cam is going to have them playing fewer downs vs Bryce.

Officially worse than Matt Rhule
Move the Panthers to Raleigh replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
I will say at least Rhule got us to 3-0 against teams we were supposed to beat -
recent history says, college has no problem with David Tepper nightmares to come work in the semi pro league of college football. Rhule and Frank HCs.

With the 1st Pick in the 2026 Draft....
LinvilleGorge replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
Right now we have a top 10 pick LT who is showing improvement as a pass protector, two top tier guards, an aging but still top shelf RT, a top 10 pick at WR, a proven veteran RB. I mean, the cupboard is far from bare. Drop rookie Cam on this roster and it's probably similar results. 6ish wins and overall competitive but the D usually finds a way to give up more points than we can score.
