It's almost like Bryce is trying in invoke the infamous growing the beard trope from Star Trek The Next Generation. if BY Season 3 ends up like TNG Season 3, we're in for an absolute treat.

You look at the NFL all-time rushing leaders, there's some players from this millennium but a lot were players from before we even had a franchise. Given how it's swung back towards being less of a passing league, not a surprise if Chuba can get up to third all-time in rushing yards at some point. Obviously, the biggest factor is if he can stay healthy enough.

100%. Him picking his guys so far, whether through the draft or free agency, has been a bust. Evero has been given an incredible amount of rope here really. Other than Bryce (and maybe equally so) is pressure on Evero. If his scheme and coaching is so great, it's time to see it on the field.

I think he's answered it partially. After his benching, he showed he CAN BE the guy. The only way to know if he truly is is to see how he starts the season. If he builds off the end of the season last year, we got our guy. Any inconsistency, any regression that is more than an "off game", we have to be prepared to cut ties and move on. It's a cutthroat league for QBs right now. Guys have played better and ended up a backup on a new team the next season.

This sounds like he's pissed and I love it. He knows what we have in our core and doesn't want to squander it. Our core is too good for us to not have a Cup appearance at least. Our bottom 6 need a rework. We need scoring and we need guys who can break the monotony in the offensive zone without breaking the discipline of the system entirely. We need guys who want to score more than they want to not fug up (looking squarely at Aho here). We need more points production. Aho is on par with an aging Ovechkin but we need more. Svech showed flashes of an Evgeni Malkin type but he has to do it each game, not for a quarter of the season. Goddamn I miss Necas.

All I want out of Bryce this year is answering the question of whether he's the guy or not. Mediocre would be the worst case scenario IMO. Just be the guy or be Clausen and be the guy who gets us the guy. Let's please just get some clarity one way or the other.

Seems like Ez, JTT, & Scourton were targets. Unsure how they stacked but they had a 1st round grade on Nic. Good stuff. And they were targeting Princely for a while - Dan wanted him badly. Really good stuff

KK contract isn’t that much of the cap but 4+ AAV for the level of play this past year is ass.
