  1. Past hour
  2. Hornets are a cursed franchise. A successful Hornets season tops out at around 35 wins. They weren't even that good in the good old days. Once you accept they are no good, and never will be any good, it makes life easier.
  3. Name one argument. I never made excuses for the guy. You’re just gaslighting
  4. Can’t see down the field and a coach who constantly calls plays that makes him do it …and a qb you can’t use on short yardage …and an offense that is lateral because he can’t go vertical it is a poo show. Plan and simple or Cam used to say ‘simple and plain’
  5. He's the absolute heartbeat of our D. He's a great player - and if someone is offering you magic beans for him then you absolutely take him.
  6. I despise this argument sooooooooooooo much, because yes, he very much asked for it and gamed the system to ensure it happened. He put on bad weight before the combine so he'd weigh in at a number that didn't scare teams off. Because of that he didn't do any physical testing, because he knew he wasn't in the right condition to do them well. Then he cut the weight by his pro day so he could perform better, while then not allowing himself to be re-weighed in at that time, because it would show he wasn't as big as he seemed to be at the combine. They purposefully hid his deficiencies to ensure he was taken at the top of the draft, knowing if they let him perform side by side with the other prospects, he'd have been exposed and fallen in the draft. I get it, you can't blame him for trying to get drafted as high as possible, but it's why the "he didn't ask for it" reasoning falls completely flat with me in regards to Bryce.
  7. Because he realizes he’s about to be done in the NFL if he doesn’t clean up this garbage
  8. I’m done watching this team until Bryce is gone. I’ve seen enough to know this is not going to work.
  9. Just finish out the year with him as QB and let him lead us to a decent pick. See ya Bryce, good riddance. It wasn't your fault this dumbass franchise traded a kings ransom for a make a wish QB, but you still suck ass. Go open a business or something. Side note, does anybody else notice how SLOW his dropbacks are? Like, no urgency at all. So nonchalant like he still has 10 seconds to throw like when he was at Bama. So done with this dude.
  10. Would you have promised you could fix him? To get the job and the money? Or would your rep maybe be more important to you. Arguing this elsewhere and I feel like, based on how I operate which might be my big mistake, but I would be honest and say I don’t know if he can be fixed, but I have plan to try that has brought me success. I do have to say, it is a very challenging proposition because of his poor mechanics and his size. Here is all you can really do… and proceed to tell what I would try to do. My question to you (meaning to Tepper) is if it fails do I lose my job or do I get a chance to prove myself with someone of my choosing?
  11. You cannot with any credibility question someone else's football takes when you carried water for Bryce for years. You made the dumbest arguments that have ever been made about the game of football for years without a sliver of self awareness and then your dumbass wants to immediately pivot to "you know nothing"? fuging clown ass.
  12. I guess if your blind in one eye and can't see out the other, then you have an excuse why you pick a midget with no arm strength.
  13. A healthy Chubba helps. Not saying it cures all ills, but it does make us better. As to us seeing this same game plan again, no argument...
  14. Isn't he just as small as Bryce?
  15. 100%. 49ers traded the farm for Trey Lance but still drafted Purdy and brought in Darnold too. You keep trying like any other position
  16. As much as I can’t stand Young, I despise LaMelo even more. He has NO HEART to actually want to compete, constant soft injuries it wasn’t Young’s fault for being drafted 1, he didn’t ask for it. He’s a athlete who peaked in college and never had NFL measurables but an inept owner kept trying to think he can outsmart the league
  17. Ehhh... I mean... I would argue Brown, Horn, and TMac are basically the 3 players that I would consider untouchable right now. But it depends where we are at in the draft and who is there. I'm reluctant to trade our star players for high draft picks right now.
  18. I hear Chad Powers is available
  19. Same as you typically would against a pressure heavy attack. Screens, draws, misdirection... basically standard WCO. The whole approach was birthed specifically to defend against that kind of thing. We did that on a few plays, but not enough.
  20. He is so slow and lackadaisical on the field zero intensity slow to react to what he sees… I was serious, this is the most intense I’ve heard him
  21. If you're a GM with a Top 5 pick and you trade that pick for a 28 year old DT with a big contract, and nothing else, you're getting fired before that other team is even able to use the draft pick they got off you. If there is a QB worth taking at that spot, to begin with, if you're picking in the Top 5, there is a good chance you need to take that QB yourself. Beyond that, if you didn't, there would be multiple offers of multiple 1sts to move up to that spot. If you're taking a 28 year old with a big contract over the multiple first round picks, then you're just an idiot. This is no offense to DB, love the guy, but he's not an Aaron Donald type of DT who is racking up big sack numbers. There is no world where he's worth turning down multiple first round picks (and probably other assets) to take just him back in exchange. If someone is offering us 2 1sts and say a player, maybe another 2nd or 3rd round pick there too, for DB, I'm taking that offer so fast my head will spin. Which is why no team is turning down that trade to take the offer of DB either. Only chance would be if it's a team who lucked into that draft pick through a previous trade (like maybe the Rams with the Falcons pick) and they feel they are a Derrick Brown away from being the SB favorite that season, and even then, I'm not sure they turn down the draft picks based offers.
