  1. Past hour
  2. 1. What do you do with Icky? Likely a scratch for next season and due a massive contract (if healthy) 2. Coker has the talent for 2nd WR, but do you pay a guy who gets hurt that premium? I think hes your number 3 simply due to risk. Will the Panthers seek another vet or go surprisingly high in the draft? 3. Do you give X more feature time? Or cut bait now? 4. Planning the long term/short term on OL 5. How do you address LB? 6. Do you bank of Chuba bouncing back? These moves will determine if Dan's can maintain a consistent playoff level team.
  3. Nothing like being at the game, Kon balling out, hits the game winning free throws and cash a bet. Parlay for tonight. Will maybe bet second half of Michigan/Sparty after seeing how first half trends.
  4. It’s got nothing to do with the event itself, it’s about the accolade and it lessening the meaning of it, particularly for past players. Just call it “The postseason games” or something dumb like that. Then have pro bowl voting still and those players are then invited to participate in the event, but any alternates aren’t then considered “pro bowlers”
  5. Either you’re joking or you mean $50 million total package for 4 - 5 years not AAV lol
  6. As of 4 hours ago, rumors are Panarin wants a 4-5 year extension @ $50M AAV. Caps, Kings, Sharks, Red Wings and Canes are still in, according to Elliott Friedman.
  7. Today
  8. They need to turn the pro bowl into a skills contest that somehow forms some American Gladiator type event. Now that would be some fun shot to watch.
  9. It's games. It isn't a big deal. Also, the Pro Bowl games are infinitely superior to the old Pro Bowl game.
  10. Not that we need any more kindling for the Fire David Newton crowd, but this content most Panthers fans could predict with their eyes closed. Reeeeeeal eye opening isht here, Dave. Clown on jackass.
  11. He wanted him as a backup there, not to be their starter, big difference. That doesn't mean he won't get an opportunity to start, but if he does, I think it's more them punting on the season to get a high pick in next year's better QB class than thinking he actually can be their long term solution. Saw it the other day, since 2000 there have been something like 600 times a QB has thrown 200 passes in a season. Of those, Shedder ranked in the bottom 10 for QBR, he literally had one of the 10 worst seasons of the last quarter century, he's not a starter in this league.
  12. I haven't bothered to look up the actual % but just from watching every game past 2 years I would imagine their snap count is almost 2:1 for XL
  13. He and his agent would turn those deals down. It doesn't make sense for him to sign a long term deal if he is gonna get a chance to start.
  14. @firefox1234 Thanks for the meeting updates. I will post some Day 3 info tonight.
  15. Fun game to be at last night. fug dook, but Kon and Cooper put on a show.
  16. Monken wanted the Ravens to draft Sanders, so it’s possible that he could give him an opportunity to start. That said, Sanders and Flacco making the Pro Bowl is a joke. They should really call it a day as the Pro Bowl is no longer fit for purpose.
  17. He apparently turned down the kings, and Washington. All that's left is Dallas and Carolina.
  18. JFC.... now Flacco is in the pro bowl, what a freaking joke this has become, time to officially kill this event off. When the 5-12 Cleveland Browns had 2 Pro Bowl QB's this year and still need to find a new Week 1 starter next year, you know it's jumped the shark and time to put it off to pasture.
  19. Canales won’t want Luke under him because as soon as we start underperforming, the calls for Luke to takeover as HC will be deafening
  20. Just hire McDermott, Ron Rivera and Luke Kuechly to run the defense together
  21. Rico Dowdle CARRunning Back#5 ESPN’s David Newton believes that unless Rico Dowdle “wants to return at a bargain price, he appears headed to his third team in three seasons.” Dowdle was notably down on how little he was used in the regular season finale and in the playoffs, where he rushed a combined 12 times for 19 yards, and said that would be a “factor” in his free agency. Dowdle’s fantasy stock could take a big upturn if he wound up being the obvious lead back on a new team this offseason. The Chiefs, Saints and Texans come to mind as (our speculation) possibilities. Chuba Hubbard’s stock would similarly rebound if Dowdle took off to greener pastures.

  23. Top priority The Panthers' top offseason priority isn't actually an unrestricted free agent. It's locking in wide receiver Jalen Coker for the long term. Biggest dilemma Left tackle. There's a good chance Ikem Ekwonu, the sixth pick of the 2022 draft, misses part or all of the 2026 season after suffering a ruptured patella tendon in his right knee against the Rams. Rest of the O-line The interior with Hunt and Lewis is set, as is right tackle Taylor Moton, who is under contract through 2027 after signing an extension in August. So re-signing center Cade Mays becomes a priority.
  24. I love all the people saying he's our best WR right now, I think you're letting that playoff game skew your thinking just a tad bit. I know he started the year hurt and it affected him, but he still played in 11 games and only had 400 yards, with only 2 regular season games having over 52 yards (and still only 60 and 74 yards in those two). His playoff performance was the same total as his 2 best games this year combined, which is awesome, but it also shows the playoff game was more of an outlier than the norm for him right now. Love his potential and think he can be a really good player for us, but saying he's our best WR right now over T-Mac just makes you sound dumb, sorry.
