Indiana is just flat out embarrassing Alabama. This is belt to ass.
-
Nice ball
-
Damn this could be 50-0
-
"Alabama is out there just existing" lol
-
Not so sure the SEC darling is going to come back in this 1. Not so sure how the country will survive only having 1 SEC team in the final four.

Alabama band playing their state anthem

Lowest Yards Per Completion...All Time.

Nobody knew what he would get prior to this year’s performance. If he had come out with 4500 yards and 35 tds, a 50m AAV extension could easily be on the table at the end of this season. To be honest we still don’t know and Tepper is a wild card. We saved some cap space extending Moton, but it wasn’t wholly necessary at the time.

Indiana just reworked his contract to have mega money. At his age I'm not sure he's gonna make another jump.
-
His ability worked in college against much lesser athletes. In the NFL where that isn't the case, he's too small/weak to be a LB/in the box safety and terrible at coverage to be a coverage LB/cover safety/nickel. It's a similar problem to Chinn, except Chinn can function decently as an in-the-box safety
-
He’ll be in the NFL or poached by another college team. I wished UNC could hit on a guy like him lol
-
Cignetti is amazing. The turnaround Indiana has made with him and how disciplined his teams play is just really impressive.
-
Bryce checked down alot in college too

I will allow that sometimes the players sound smarter than I expected, vocabulary seems broad and seems like they know what the words mean when they use them. A lot of them. Some others are perpetuating the cliche. But our organizational IQ? Bryce Young is our starting QB and we have no one to challenge him. Low end of the bell curve.
-
Though question the validity of this chart, it does remind me of concerns I have with our offense. I’m unsure whether it’s Canales doesn’t trust Bryce to execute his gameplan or if the route concepts and scheme is vanilla and unimaginative by design. When watching other games, the receivers seem like they get more separation and aren’t as clustered together as ours. The Panthers WR, TE and RBs, more often than not, seem very close to each other and almost like their feet are stuck in a lower gear in and out of routes/off the LOS. Often times, unclear of their positioning when the first read isn’t there and where they should be positioned within the options of that particular route concept (e.g. Bryce is under duress and the play breaks down….where do you go? Pre-snap we thought it was man, it’s disguised well as zone). It’s almost like if the coaches don’t tell them, the players aren’t intelligent enough to figure this out on their own. Or are the players simply doing as told by the coaches in film study, practice and in-game, which means the coaching is inept.

I think Young has totally killed the idea of drafting undersized QB's and hoping it works. Especially at such a high pick and putting all your cards on the table. He won't last in this league.

Well, maybe it will save us some money down the line when it is time to give him a new deal. Might be one of the unsung Benefits of Bryce.
-
It was obvious to me. I said so, loudly. Not even based on his college tape but his horrible mechanics and weak arm, clearly visible on his pro day (yes it is weak for the NFL). And struggle he did. Three years in, he is still struggling. Big surprise, the way to beat the Panthers is stop their run game and make Bryce beat you. You want to ride that little pair of threes into the river you will need a life jacket.

Crazy place on the field to go for it on 4th and 1

lol

Sounds like we should keep on that and draft another one

Someone needs to bug that office -
If Icky gets an extention it will probabky save us 10 million or so. His cap hit is 17 million next year and if signs an extention it probably goes down to 6 or 7. Now thats just for next year, after that it will probably be like 20 or so a year.
