QB class looks rough early. That kind of sucks.
-
Watching Hubbard run shouldn’t award him with a GWD
-
I still think the defense looked much much better this year than most of last year. The offense / special teams did them no favors until the 4th quarter IMO.
-
I think this is the first game I've been to in person since he was drafted. He literally doesn't know where he's supposed to be 50% of the time pre snap
-
First round QB picks find a way to get the win. Fifth round QB picks don't. He was way over drafted.
-
I think the defense looking somewhat average today is a complete mirage. Playing zone against Kyler Murray has always been the smart play because he’s erratic when he has to pick a defense apart. There are a couple qbs on our schedule this year that are going to absolutely shred this defense with the pass: Love, Allen, Mayfield, Stafford. There’s gonna be some ugly games down the line.
-
Again. Get what for him? It serves as much purpose as trading Bryce would. Bryce is in his third year and there are still insane people excusing his horrible turnovers.
-
Atlanta is adverse to scoring touchdowns. We should help them over that next week.

IMO lack of running game is the largest problem. And it has been pedestrian which no one saw this coming. I know Hubbard has to be frustrated. The Tight Ends showed well. As for XL, he creates little to no separation. I would love to see him utilized in slants and crossing routes. He does not strike me as a sideline threat. But with all the physical gifts he has, use him in slants and see if his productivity rises. I would think he is a big RAC threat.

I mean, he wasn't lying. He only promised that our days of mediocrity were over and they were. He didn't elaborate and tell us that he was gonna turn us into a bottom dweller.

I Feel Bad For All of You - Thank God for Tetairoa McMillan

Worth noting with his 100+ yard game, he also drew a game-extending holding call. He had a hell of a game and I don't think it is an exaggeration to say he is already our best overall player on offense (though Chuba is, imo, still a beast) -
The good is we get to scout QBs all year and Bryce isn't forcing our hand to pick up the 4th year option

Like I said early in the game thread, these games are over before they even start for us because we’re climbing out of a hole Bryce made, and he makes everyone else out there look shitty. I think they said during the broadcast that we don’t know what we have because there’s so much dysfunction, and they’re right. And it’s because of Bryce, and I’ll give a slight amount of blame to the coaching/playcalling. But because Bryce is limited in size and physical ability, they either can’t call certain things, or when they do, he usually can’t do it - at least not consistently. As a result, receivers get put in tough spots to catch, are thrown hospital balls. We also can’t get it to the receivers that need it consistently because Bryce can’t see them. RBs can’t get going because we usually go down early and can’t afford to run much, AND the defense stack the box and shoot the gaps aggressively because they have zero fear of Bryce as a passer. OL gives up pressures because they don’t know where tf Bryce is half the time because he bails early, in part because he is uncomfortable and his vision is limited in the pocket. It’s a domino effect that all starts and ends with Bryce. Tough to evaluate what we have and what we can do when Bryce makes everyone and everything around him look and play worse. as I was watching Bryce run a dump off fest for 5 yard hooks to JT for the larger part of 3 quarters, I kept thinking - if we had a QB who could push the ball downfield, imagine how JT could be used. A big, athletic TE, just running free down the seams. But nope, come play for the Panthers and their QB who is built like a preschooler, with the arm to boot, so you too can run 5 yard hooks routes once the game is 27-3 because said QB turns the ball over a minimum of twice a game.

Our past mediocrity might as well be a dynasty compared to this.
-
Maybe if we package him with a 4th we can get Thielen.
-
He has not delivered a single time when pressure is truly on. Folds folds folds
-
the rest of the group did just fine today, XL is horrible
-
Unfortunately Assholes live forever so Im probably going to die before David Tepper wins more than 50. I Legitimately hate that bald cocksucker
-
I'm pretty fuging skeptical of Canales across the board as a head coach. But looking at how this franchise operates who in the hell is going to want to coach here?
-
I cant help but wonder how many players are pressing - trying to do too much - not playing in their own sweet spot because they are trying to overcome the significant negative that is the QB.
-
Brown's impact isn't always the kind that shows up on personal stats.
-
He is safe through end of season. I don’t think he has 3 years guaranteed but I also don’t think Tepper would do another mid season firing
-
The situation after the onside recovery is a W with 25+ starting QBs. We all knew how it would go with ours however.

Xavier Legette. 8 Targets for -2 Receiving Yards

Crazy we traded up for this dude when we could have stayed put and got McConkey, who a lot of people here wanted to draft including myself. -
Yet other receivers still got more than -2 yards
