  2. Honestly that is still too much for one of the worst OT in the league. But this is where we're at based on the exorbitant amount we have invested in the OL. For anyone interested we are currently jostling with the Broncos for the highest paid OL in the league again for 2026 already. Based on cap % we are the highest. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/position/offensive-line/_/year/2026/table/active/sort/cap_total
  3. Incoom was solely a special teams signing and will only play a meaningful D snap for us if we have terrible LB injury luck again. Gibson is a true LB depth signing and could be used more for blitzing purposes
  4. Spot on for the most part but I don't get ppl that want a new TE.. TT is a good player he is fast for his size a damn good blocker and when thrown to catches the ball what more do ppl want? Sanders slimmed down to be the out wide TE so there is his role, plus the Panthers don't seem to use the TE as much in the pass game..
  5. #Panthers one year, $2M Stone Forsythe, $1.05M gtd, $500K signing bonus, salary $1.215M ($550K salary gtd), $15K per game active roster bonus, $1.25M playtime, team rankings incentive. Max APY: $3.25M
  6. This is where I'm at. I thought he exceeded expectations mid-season, but kind of fell off. I actually liked him more than Incoom. Depth guy that could shine for a couple games here and there if he's feeling it.
  7. What? The dude is coming off a pretty big injury last year + has been a constant source of drama for the Bengals the past few years. He is also Brian Burns-esque of he can only rush the passer and is awful against the run. I'll gladly take Phillips instead
  8. Goes hand in hand with the converted portion but not many know how NFL contracts work and get all bent out of shape when these get announced... (Even though a lot of them are built into the contract and happen automatically)
  9. Panthers will bring back TE James Mitchell on a 1-year deal, league source said. Mitchell was a restricted FA.
  10. #Panthers one year, $2M Stone Forsythe, $1.05M gtd, $500K signing bonus, salary $1.215M ($550K salary gtd), $15K per game active roster bonus, $1.25M playtime, team rankings incentive. Max APY: $3.25M
  11. Guy is such a dog. I couldn't be more hype for this signing.
  12. This. Restructuring a bum like XL would be infuriating. Restructuring a dude that is a dominant player is fine
  13. Yeah, and it looks way worse because they have done literally the exact same thing like 3 or 4 other times in the past 10-15 years (honestly surprised the NFL hasn't put some type of rule in place because of it). Obviously not a player of this magnitude though when they did it in the past. Not sure it will have much of an impact on other teams willingness to trade with the Ravens, but it definitely has to hurt relations with agents and players seeking a new deal. Wouldn't be surprised to see players looking for that next contract to refuse a trade/willing to free agent sign with the Ravens
  14. Don't mind the deal. At times last year, I thought he looked good. Other games, he was a disaster. Pretty much what all of our LBs were last year. I thought he actually looked good as a pass rusher when we played the Rams in the playoffs. Was arguably one of our best players to get pressure in that playoff game
  15. They are absolutely still protecting Bryce. They are giving him one last shot before they close the door. I mean this kid has started all three of his first seasons in the league playing like one of the worst QB's in Panthers history. The issue is you can't rule out the Panthers decision makers seeing just enough from him to convince themselves he's worth an extension. If he needs to be carried in any way shape or form across the season for us to be competitive then he has to go.
  16. Some context: Brown had pre-approval of restructuring in his contract, I'm told. So, it was a simple mechanism to convert his salary into a bonus. This is common in most long-term contracts to my understanding. To be clear, he's just getting a bonus payout, no new cash. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2031758993149104167?s=46
  17. I think the Ravens pulled a real shady deal here. Hammer out that Crosby trade knowing he's still recovering from that minor procedure then still go after Hendrickson. If they land Hendrickson, just fail Crosby's physical and get your picks back. If you swing and miss you still have Corsby coming via trade. I'd be very wary of dealing with this Ravens front office moving forward.
  18. Huddle: Panthers need a pass rusher! DM: Cool, I'll sign the best one on the market Huddle: Fug you DM! He sucks and is injured get a different one! Me:
  19. The cap is workable for sure although I think some people here are definitely hopped up on hopium going as far as calling it a myth and this and that. Best case scenario would be to ride it out and let Bryce sink or swim. The pieces are in place and we will add even more with the draft. If he sinks which there is a high probability of it based on his physical limitations then you insert another QB into the fold in 2027 like the Seahawks did with Sam Darnold and keep it pushing. But if the decision makers are not looking closely at the very glaring cautionary tale of Tua and the Dolphins and are mulling over sinking the cap on BY now that would be akin to career suicide for anyone involved IMO. I cannot rule out the possibility unfortunately.
  20. Yeah, makes me nervous a bit too. Makes me want a Oline pick on day 1 or 2. Moton, Hunt, and Lewis contracts all get to where can walk away from after this season. If hit on a lineman would make walking away from one much easier. Wish all 3 the best and hope all 3 could stay 2 more years I'm just assuming one of them is gone at this point after this season.
  21. The question was really meant to make one consider the motivations of the FO. Would you bring in another QB at 4m per season who had a statistically better season than Bryce as a "backup" or would they allow an open competition? I question the reasons behind signing Pickett. Is it about improving the team or protecting Bryce from competition.
  22. While I usually agree and the Raiders are about as dysfunctional of a franchise as you will find, it has to be concerning that 1) they immediately sign Hendrickson after he said yesterday that he will make his final decision tomorrow (today), which the Ravens knew would be at a cheaper price 2) there are reports from like 10 unnamed people with other team's front offices that said this is the Ravens having buyers remorse. It's not like the knee issues with Crosby were unknown either. You would think a team like the Ravens would have done their homework before trading for him
