  1. Past hour
  2. none of these players are comps. That's where the Bryce gymnastics fall apart. They all showed things Bryce hasn't.
  3. Throw out his first NFL start and see the difference. I think it would be 4-0 close to 250 10 TDS and 0 ints
  4. That second part is completely irrelevant for several reasons. If they deem him not worthy of starting any longer, this offseason is the time to trade him or release him. Get a conditional 6th or 7th and call it a day. Regardless of anything that happens with Bryce, the QB room needs a 100% overhaul. Bring in 2-3 new bodies to compete for 2-3 spots. Period.
  5. Desire and ability to create "content" is different from having anything profound or knowlegable to say.
  6. it was evident after his rookie year, he lacked the tools to play in this league. and it was also evident, unless you were going to 100% on some gimmick offense w/ elite YAC players all over the field there was really no point. we have been wasting time because we can't accept we picked a dud despite getting a real quick and clear answer.
  7. Nothing has changed about my opion on him from before we traded up except he is way more durable than I originally thought. Terrible talent who's ceiling is being someone else's coach or squeaking by as a bad option at backup.
  8. I'd rather have 2025 Archie Manning back there
  9. remember when he did jack poo against atlanta in the first meeting and his dumbass defenders tried to claim that was him "doing what the game called for" no that's just hit. That's who he is.
  10. Amazing that EVERYONE had him as a Top 2 pick (as far as draft experts). Im ready for some competition next year at the very least. The only reason Im not saying just flat out cut him, is he could pull a Darnold or Baker and turn it around for someone else in a couple years. I mean, wouldn’t that be the most Panthers thing ever?
  11. We have yet to attain short term mediocrity. I suppose this is the first season we have flirted with that.
  12. Jacoby briscett set an NFL record for consecutive completion against that defense just last week. Granted they were losing in the second half but so we're we
  13. I will say I wish I was as confident as you are that we aren't picking up his option. I have this recurring nightmare that we keep rolling Young out there for 2 more seasons, watching all the same mistakes, and hearing about big-time throws, and how he doesn't have any weapons, or needs better blockers, over and over.
  14. In a meeting with reporters in 2019 (about a year after he bought the team), Tepper said he “will not stand long-term mediocrity.” ESPN.com+2https://www.wbtv.com+2 He expressed frustration that the Panthers had never posted consecutive winning seasons and said he “despises mediocrity … especially when it never seems to end.” https://www.wbtv.com In a transcript, he emphasized that he wants to build a standard that will be “built and sustained … sustained excellence.” Carolina Panthers+1 After a particularly bad loss, he also said, “long-term mediocrity … would not be tolerated under his watch.” ------ If our owner doesn't see that Bryce's performance through his first 3 seasons is an example of "long-term mediocrity, then he really doesn't understand the meaning of the term. He'd be making a very unwise decision if he forces Morgan to pick up that 5th year option.
  15. holy poo Im listening now and they refuse to poo on Canales, making excuses for bryce (play calling, wrs, refs) and are saying we still are showing real "progress". This is awesome.
  16. Historically bad for an extended period. Incredible. A thing to see. Too bad we're fans of the team.
  17. Pats will probably lose game 1. That's a laughable take.
  18. I mean, when you've got these studs like Renardo Green and Deo Lemoir playing man outside, it's really hard to work around lol. Career: 41 games, over 250 passing yards 6 times Only twice over 200 in his past 11 -.074 EPA/Play (Gabriel/Geno territory) Average YPA on his career, with over 1,254 throws - 5.9. He was the lowest in NFL history before the ATL game 5.76, now he's back above Joey Harrington lol. Career EPA -269.1 It's hard to explain how terrible it is - the SI article does some of it justice.
  19. Sorry to say, known he wasn’t it before it was cool to know he wasn’t it.
  20. No poo. That is the cheerleading squad right there. AB is a fanatical pro-Bryce wingbat, with zero logic. I have no idea what got into Verge. I guess she got too close to her predictions of that pick. I have no idea what you can say to defend him anymore. And I say that as an OG Bryce stan. I was completely wrong about him. I had the wrong impression, I ignored obvious flaws and he will never be successful as a starting QB in the NFL. Let's see AB and Verge say some poo like that too. Come on, guys. Ya'll were just as wrong as I was.
  21. Eh? Brees' third year starting he made the pro bowl and was comeback player of the year. He wasn't a HoFer yet but he led his team to an 11-4 record. His first two starting were meh but it's a totally different league now.
  22. I don't really care, because like I've been saying we aren't picking up the option and he's probably gone after the season, but it's actually interesting that so many people still defend him. Are they Bama fans? Panthers haters who blame all his failures on the organization? Not even football fans who think he's a nice guy? I honestly don't get how anyone could see what we've all seen the last three years and think he's a good QB.
  23. He thought that poo was a swish. Thought it was drippy as fug, did a little jump when he threw it, all that. He never saw that defender sinking until he caught the ball. He was still giddy Bryce while the ball was in the air.
