  1. Past hour
  2. Bryce vs the Falcons: 3-1 vs literally anyone else: 4-25
  3. While I give Baker Mayfield credit for his turnaround I wouldn't be surprised to see him brought back down to earth down the line. I mean yeah you're 3-0 but plenty of teams have started out hot and finished sputtering. Plus at the end of the day you beat the Tyrod Taylor led Jets by 2 points. And you use that as an opportunity to settle scores with former coaches. Sounds like he still needs some humbling.
  4. Not really. If we had approached things the right way from the jump instead of making the splash trade up because it's what Tepper wanted we wouldn't have even been in position to draft him. The Panthers have been where they are these last several years because our decision makers continually think they are the smartest in the room instead of just building with an actual plan.
  5. I think this is a bit disingenuous. Sure, they missed a 49 yard field goal to start, although I'd say that wouldn't have dramatically affected the game being up 3-0 especially since we played aggressive on the first drive regardless and marched up the field for a TD. Plus a 49 yarder isn't exactly a chip shot. The 2nd missed fg, I give 99% of the credit to the Panthers. They have a demoralizing turnover that gifts the Falcons the ball around the Panthers 30 yard line and then proceed to play unbelievably good defense to actually force negative yardage in 3 plays, setting up a much more challenging 55 yard field goal that is essentially a 50/50 prospect for all but the top few kickers in the league. That's not the Falcons bungling it; that's the Panthers asserting their dominance. The int td by Smith-Wade was an incredible break on the ball. It's not like Penix overthrew the receiver by 10 yards and it hit Smith-Wade in the chest. That was a hell of a play. The 2nd interception, it wasn't a good throw, but the receiver slipped and we were already up 20-0 at that point. So even if he just throws an incompletion, it doesn't dramatically change the game's complexion. And when you win 30-0, you think that happens when the opponent plays flawlessly? Of course you can point to Falcons mistakes. But it still takes a great performance to capitalize. To your later points about not letting Bryce air it out when the game was in hand, when would you suggest they had done that? Cause it was still a 3 score game into the early 4th quarter. You really think Canales should have assumed there was zero possibility a team can make 3 TDs in a full quarter with 3 TOs and the 2 minute warning? Yeah I think its fair to say it was over when we went up 27-0 with about 10 minutes left. But by the time we got the ball back, there was 8 minutes left in a 27-0 game. Every team in the NFL is playing safe run out the clock there. And even if Bryce gets a couple deep throws in against a demoralized Falcons defense that's not playing for anything but maybe pride at that point, you think you've learned a lot about Bryce's potential? I wouldn't.
  6. Nah we rattled them. All forced errors. They couldn’t handle all the noise at BOA. They were confused by all of our exotic looks and our players just physically dominated them across the board… Wishful thinking but I do feel confident the truth is somewhere in between and the team deserves at least a little more credit than you’re giving them.
  7. I have to say I’ve been very critical of Bryce and to a lesser extent Canalas but today I was shocked. I thought Canalas hit the nail on its head. Short, dink and dunk passes is and extension of the run game. Bryce was very good at that today so I’ll give credit where it is due and eat my crow. Canalas drew up the perfect game plan today for the talent he has. I’m still in shock, the D deserves a major shout out from most of us as does Evero. They were terrific today!
  8. Bryce had like 124 yards. Not a stellar performance, but I won’t worry about that now
  9. Why would it? I personally do not let other people's opinions bother me. I struggle to understand why it does others, or why they put in effort to go out and finds things to get angry over. Thats has to be a miserable life.
  10. You’re arguing with a figment of your imagination.
  11. Sorry I don’t poo posts often but this crap just irks me. How about we join together celebrating a division rival’s misery instead of wallowing in our own? I don’t have to move on to poo, I’m a fan wtf would it even matter for me to move on to next week. Makes no sense.
  12. Meh… they actually have won a championship.
  13. yeah recruiting another mid but top of the class QB will just further this poo era of the panthers
  14. dont throw bryce to the dogs he's gamey he's full of bones there's no meat and it's bad for their tum tums
  15. I guess you could view it that way. To me it’s just more reason to draft a guy every year or two and throw them to the dogs.
  16. the only team that couldn't have beat the falcons today was the falcons. that looked like the first day of training camp install
  17. the reason bryce dead enders will keep hanging on....until he's finally cut and they can latch on to whatever the next qb is, good or bad
  18. Not a good take after a shutout blowout win over a division opponent. If they squeaked out an undeserved win like if they managed to win last week you might have a point
  19. It's a nice change of pace to finally have some Panthers content that we can all universally agree on.
  20. Just remember the next time some of y’all try to convince us you are only miserable Debbie downers when the team sucks how you have behaved during a 30-0 shutout.
  21. You’re right about that, I legit don’t know why I come here lol. But alas here I am every weekend
