  1. Past hour
  2. Who says no to the following. Trade KK and Morrow for a draft pick of some sort. Sign the following: Bennett 8m AAV Ekblad 8m AAV Boeser 7.5m AAV Marner 13m AAV Cap numbers work after the trade of KK and Morrow.
  3. This board, me included, was beating the drums for both Humphrey and Frazier. I honestly think this board would draft better than the actual team after the first round, like if we had a consensus poll everytime we picked. Panthers wasting shitloads of money on scouting
  4. If you start the season 6-0 and the offense is awesome and you are feeling good...maybe. Not a pre-season trade to make.
  5. I hope some of Horns technique and skill rubs off on Mike Jackson now that he has a full offseason in our defensive system.
  6. Today
  7. Went back and watched today and I now know why Rod broke the lines up. Svechnikov, Aho and Jarvis stopped running Rod's system after it got to 2-0 and that's why he stormed off the Bench.
  8. I had a few kidney stones removed this morning and I'm peeing blood and in pain that meds won't touch and watching last night's game hurt worse physically.
  9. Yep checked with my friends that are season ticket holders and they have like 10 seats between the 3 sets of families and they not coming back either. Rod will have to go or it will kill the teams momentum with fans.
  10. This….x1000. We have arrived and are tired of just participating. The days of referencing the dark days of 2010-18 are done. It’s all about next steps and if we have the right guy leading us.
  11. It depends on the plan that Morgan/Canales have. If they're looking to build still, I can see them leaning into the young guys like with what they're doing at WR. If they're trying to take the training wheels off now and push for the division, then make the trade. I don't think that's the plan though... I think they look at how the team develops over the course of this season and then makes any big time moves based on those results.
  12. In the hospital waiting on neck surgery. My eyes burn way more from watching our level of play than the nerves in my arms do from my injury.
  13. They really shouldn't be. We don't have a starting caliber nickel. And one injury to Jaycee or Mike Jackson would derail everything.
  14. I have seen that look in our players before 2009 ECF against Pittsburgh 2023 ECF against Florida
  15. You should see what Canadian fans do to there teams that lose Leafs fans not only bood, but throwed thier $300 jerseys on the ice The fanbase is obviously grown has hockey fans, and are no longer satisfied with just being there
  16. Completely disagree on your Mike Jackson assessment. There are a ton of guys that play in the slot that are great matchups for him... especially now that the tight end is essentially a third receiver. He also is solid in run support and would hugely improve our run defense playing in the nickel.
  17. Where this conversation goes south continuously and becomes bitter and contentious is when the discussion involves his "improvement". It is not hyperbole to say we started out the first two games of the season with some of the worst QB play in franchise history. We're talking amongst Jimmy Clausen. So when someone comes in and says Bryce played at such a high level in the last stretch of games he even surpassed Cam Newton as a sophomore there's not going to be any logical conversation to be had at that juncture. We can talk in a reality based context or we can talk in an echo chamber context. Only one is going to foster productive dialogue. Anyways what's done is done. We need to focus on the now. Now Bryce has an offensive line we've invested a ton of salary cap space in. He has a formidable backfield. He has a significantly improved WR room including 2 first round picks the last 2 years one being an 8th overall pick. He has one of the better TE rooms we've had in years with actual young promising talent instead of jags like Ian Thomas taking up salary cap space. He has a young up and coming offensive head coach. Honestly this is probably the best situation any QB has had entering the season since Delhomme in 2003. The foundation is there for any QB worth his salt to showcase high end franchise QB ability going forward.
  18. Like they were comfortable with their pass rushers last offseason?
  19. We have 2 startable cbs, good defenses have atleast 4 startable corners. We are in a pass happy era, base defenses have three corners on the field and dime packages with 4 corners are becoming incredibly common. We have zero depth at corner, if Jaycee or Jackson miss any time we will be torched in the air. Also Mike Jackson is an outside corner only, he is a big zone corner with below average change of direction and agility he would be a bad fit at nickle.
  20. I would disagree that CB is a massive need. Mike Jackson and Jaycee Horn both played very well last year with a front 7 utterly incapable of pressuring the QB or stopping the run. That said, I'd love to see Jackson moved to nickel and Ramsey take over outside. I would trade a 5th rounder for him in a heartbeat.
  21. I think the team is pretty comfortable with their corner room
  22. Naw we are a few years away IMO. I am not banking on the defensive pieces we added to put us in some playoff situation next season. This defense was incredibly bad last year and it still needs more talent
  23. I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO. During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average. AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games. Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game. That game was all Chuba. Meh vs Dallas. Meh vs Philly. Meh vs Giants. Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints. Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was. We should be happy. But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far. His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling. And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
  24. Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense. Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible. This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL. I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
  25. What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon 2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
