  1. Past hour
  2. If I remember correctly Jake Delhome was sitting on his couch when the Panthers gave him a call .The difference is Jake the fire in his belly to be great . Not so much talent but a will to win . Bryce may be smart but has no will to win and no one to kick his butt to be better .
  3. Shout outs to the former Huddler's all-22 being quoted in the article! idr his name on the Huddle, but Taco from Pantherscord/Twitter knows ball.
  4. He didn't play as bad as it looked live but still not like a #1 pick in his 3rd year should. Getting tired of the idea that the supporting cast isn't good enough and everything has to be perfect for him succeed. These are the best athletes in the world, the other team has talent too. Not every match up is won, you have to make do with it. Cam, Delhomme, Moore, Steve B, even PJ Walker would have owned the Jaguars Sunday.
  5. Worse arm and vision but better runner with nothing in front of him.
  6. Right. The crazy thing is how much the narrative has shifted from the spring of 2023. I remember back when the comparisons to Stroud before the draft were going in wild directions. There was one discussion in particular that people had taken and ran with that Bryce had the highest tight window throw % based off some random metric from who knows where. Which to me the tape doesn't lie. CJ Stroud was throwing heaters into absurdly small windows at times while Bryce was tossing up prayers to guys with 2 or more yards on their defender and sometimes still underthrew it. At the end of the day people have to swallow that lump in their throat and begin accepting Bryce Young as people previously perceived him was a media creation because he played for Saban and Alabama. If he played anywhere else all of this discussion would be completely different.
  7. It’s not hard to track at all. Name any QB that has stayed on the field during that window competing with him for worst over that time span. No one exists. You don’t get the opportunity to be this bad, this long. Only examples would be guys that haven’t been out there that long. So a guy getting a year 2 this year doesn’t even qualify. Bryce already got that.
  8. It turns into a 14 year rebuilt in total time wasted.
  9. Fascinating that the Jaguars appeared fully prepared and able to anticipate what Carolina would do on both sides on the ball in week 1 of a brand new season.
  10. Because nobody involved is realistically gonna sit threw atrocious play for 4 months. Its not gonna happen, a change will be made. I really wish people would stop using this line of thinking.
  11. Was typing up basically this when you replied. Without his playmaking from college Young is just Teddy Bridgewater but shorter.
  12. Game one is a bit early for the "on pace" thing. Jacksonville would be "on pace" for 3400 yards of rushing this season...
  13. He is not a franchise, game changing QB that he was touted to be. By being picked first over all, he is not delivering the goods. He can be serviceable (when his mind is right) and everything is perfect. Just watch the QB play on Sunday and that is all you need to see. Not buying the bullshat that is spewed around here at times. The proof is his full body of work over three years.
  14. Why is our franchise a joke? well, they can give us the worst QB play in the NFL for the 3rd season…..and a huge % of the fanbase just defends it. It’s not Bryce….which is essentially Tepper. It’s his doing. So if you are David Tepper you can be HORRIBLE and people still eat it up. His investment grows and grows. No reason to be or do different. Fans will defend the comical as okay. We are starting a kid whose physical tools aren’t as good as middle school Trevor Lawrence and he plays dumb on top of that.
  15. The every single little thing has to be perfect for him to have marginal success rationale is beyond the pale. This guy was supposed to be a "magician" off script. That was his bread and butter before the draft. Now we need top talent top coaching top to bottom perfection every single time guys lineup etc. These people are insane.
  16. Another film breakdown afterwards of why he wasn't the problem.
  17. I'm glad someone pointed this out. It shows how much of an echo chamber effect has taken hold for some regarding Bryce. Legitimately every single one of these people would be clowning on him 24/7 if he was the starting QB for any of our division rivals. If you need any confirmation of that. One of the biggest most outspoken Bryce defenders recently within the last week spent multiple pages gleefully celebrating Caleb Williams struggles.
  18. Low key I think Canales knows this a failure and just wants a chance to draft his own QB. He is walking a fine line though.
  19. The Brees comparisons were insanity from the start. I never cared for Drew one iota but the guy is a hall of famer. Bryce's actual comp in terms of ceiling has been Tua. And well. Let's just say that was a bad omen. Because more often than not he's been anywhere between mid to horrific and the complete opposite of good in the playoffs anyway. We just need to throw another dart at QB in the 2026 draft and keep it pushing.
  20. I’m with you here. All things aside, he just isn’t fun to watch!
  21. If we get rid of Bryce does the 7 year rebuild restart?
  22. It would be just like that awful pass he threw into blanket coverage that got picked off against the Texans in preseason. But because it was a free play it was fine. The fact he even threw that in the first start of his regular season is very concerning at the least. His decision making has not improved. He's supposed to be a super processor.
