I don’t really get this being called a shot at tepper. More of a shot at all panthers players, coaches and fan base. I understand he owns the team but it’s more of a disrespect to the panthers in general. Trust me when I say I hate tepper just as much as the next guy but I feel like this is deflecting the jab onto him

The Evolution of the Panthers WR Room from 2023 to 2025
Navy_football replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was always going to be a project, but he really did look better in college. When he got here he looked like he couldn't walk and chew gum at the same time. Just the most awkward WR I've ever seen. Zero field presence or ball skills. -
Well, the Niners just doomed themselves to mediocrity

The Panthers got more out of him than anyone. Samual just wasn't or isn't a great player. He's a decent player. You say "we" but it's like 4 coaching staffs. One of out all time greats was a tweener. -

I don't think Mingo didn't fit due to "scheme." He literally just isn't an NFL player. -
The Evolution of the Panthers WR Room from 2023 to 2025

I'm really excited with how the offense has been built and I think we have a real chance to compete at a high level on that side of the ball this year. It's year 3 for Bryce and it's time for him to show out and solidify his place as this teams QB for the future. The supporting cast is there from Oline, WR, RB and HC there's no reason why we shouldn't be at least a top 15 offense this year. The defense will be the achilles heel of this team again but I'd be ok losing some fun shootouts. - Today

Well, the Niners just doomed themselves to mediocrity

And people on here really tried to tell me winning wasnt that important along with bryces development the next 2 years. So you want to pay a QB that's not top of the league AND has yet to produce a winning season? Yeah count me out. -
20 years God could not get an NFL rule changed, now they are rule change addicts. This is just like paying the college players, it went from one extreme side to the other. Stop and find the middle ground.

Im not firm on many things football, but this statement or belief or strategy I am 100% for. Full Offseason the goal is to make the playoffs. Week 1, 1000% I want to win. Weeks 2-10, 1000% I want to win. Until the math stats 0.000000000% chance at NO playoffs, I want to win. *Once* there's no chance at the playoffs, I want to 100% lose every game until the end. You are still loser at 2-15 or 5-12, I want to never lose like this again. I want the best value for losing and suffering. Again the only goal is playoffs. Once in the playoffs anything can happen, I want to win the whole dam show. If you happen to lose in the first round, that's perfectly fine and lets work hard this upcoming off-season to get another chance to make them. This is the ONLY way to play in the NFL. Anyone not understanding this method of strategy, please call your doctor for a visit...

Purdy's good but at the end of the day you're paying first class money for a business class seat. It's a big problem with the salary cap. QBs take most of it whether they are Pat Mahomes or not. -

Purdy saved the 49ers from that three 1st picks for Trey Lance. People forget that. People also forget he should have MVP votes for the 23 season. He's been any where from the 8th(his best/23) to 14th ranked QB, he's legit and guys around top 10 get paid as QBs.....guys in 28th get paid too, he's 4x the QB Trevor Lawrence is and better than BY by miles as well...even without CMC, Samuel(whos a RB playing WE), and half the OL. *BUT* You non-believers missed this ultra important mistake that honestly made me reconsider all the praise I gave him. https://www.si.com/nfl/49ers/news/49ers-qb-brock-purdy-throws-blind-40-percent That's is damming to my case and reset my thinking of his. That's nuclear scary now and I need some time. too honest for me to overlook. -

I do agree. But it's worth noting we tended to think the same thing this time last year when we opened the season with back to back road games. We better be getting all these guys reps in the preseason

They won't because Koochie gets +20 all stats buff by playing against a Russian goalie.
