  1. two shots for "....call a spade a spade...."
  2. Speak for yourself..... I live in Charleston, have been a fan of the Panthers since they became an NFL team and I have many friends in the area that are Panthers fans as well....
  3. It just doesn't work like that..... how difficult is it to understand that...... players and coaches play to win EVERY game, they don't play to lose. You draft EACH YEAR to improve quality of the team with the goal of getting better and win more games
  4. Exactly..... and Rhule was praised by the huddle masses !!
  5. If you go back to the beginning of the season when we were 3-0 there was nothing but praise from pretty much the entire huddle..... "we found our new franchise quarterback"
  6. Just behave like true fans for once and root for our team to win...... bunch of immature whiners
  7. Sorry kid, but no team, player, owner, coach will EVER "tank" on purpose....... these are people with jobs!! They are not there to please "SB hungry" fans. Most of them will move on in a year and start making money at (and for) for another employer........ Why is that so difficult to understand.
  8. Not a single person in the organization is willing to go through a losing season for just one pick (which may or may not work out... there are plenty of examples where the latter is the cae). Those are scenarios that fans come up with, but owner, coach, and players want wins EVERY SINGLE TIME the team takes the field. Hence, the organization is not going to make changes in that direction. If they fire the coach, it will be to get someone who immediately can deliver, or at least build on the strengths we have.
  9. Not that it matters (or that anyone should care), but I still watch pretty much every game ( I did start raking leaves at one point during the game two weeks ago). A lot of the players still play their hearts out and try hard, I still love my Panthers and , yes, I hope too that better days are ahead.
  10. I started raking leaves around half-time...... first time I have stepped away from my TV set during a Panthers game as far as I can remember....
  11. .... well..... we "live" the East Coast, so there is that...
  12. Most of them are pimple-popping kids that have no clue how things work in real life. They stare at images of beautiful women day-dreaming about their lives together.... (oh.... and about the Panthers winning a SB)
  13. not true..... his teammate immediately knew something was very wrong, he was about to throw the ball to him as he collapsed in front of his eyes. He actually made sure that his tongue was not blocking his airways..... Yes, flopping is an irritating component of the game, but this had nothing to do with it and players, officials, and medics knew right away.
  14. peanuts (that's what we are calling them here)
