For me it’s less about leaving the Panthers as much as it is leaving football. I’ve been a fan 25+ years since I was a kid, the Panthers are the only team I’ve known. I used to go to training camp at Wofford and get player signatures on Krispy Kreme napkins. I used to obsess over everything football, to this day I could tell you the majority of info of every player (school, position, draft spot) of anyone drafted before the 6th round from 2005-2020. That being said my love of the game is dead. I haven’t watched a game since week 5 and can honestly say I’ve been the happiest I’ve been in years. I really hope it brings joy to you guys but it’s just not the same.

They make me so angry too. So angry I’m going to McDonalds for a Big Mac combo with a Coke and finishing up with a 2 for $1 apple pie. I’m loving it!

You already know us winning a meaningless game is coming. It always happens and drops us from getting the 1 player that would directly improve our situation. Don’t give me the bs of, good players can be found elsewhere. I used to believe that but look where these “moral victories” got us. We could’ve had Justin Herbert, we could’ve had Penei Sewell. Sure woulda coulda shoulda but just admit that we would be a better team if we had a franchise QB and franchise LT as opposed to an underperforming NT and unknown CB. Just lose. We don’t have many draft picks, at least get the chance to recover the lost draft capital.

We all know we’ll win that 1 meaningless game to finish the season to drop us from a top 3 pick to #8.

I was thinking about this last night. From the moment Horn went down in the game every decision was how to mask his loss and it ended up as an avalanche of failure. We trade for Henderson giving up arguably Darnold’s best option outside of CMC in Arnold. We buy into being a great team and trade for Gilmore. Offense become too predictable without CMC. You know the rest.

We usually end up tanking, landing a top 5 pick before the last 2 weeks, then winning pointless games to give us the 8th or 9th pick. This is how we’ve missed out on Justin Herbert and Penei Sewell. It’s like they can’t even tank correctly.

I’ve honestly been apathetic to this team since 2015. That game showed me what the NFL was about and it’s just wrestling storylines. Now I exist somewhere between not giving up on it because I have the useless knowledge and trolling.
