  1. PJ Walker would be a fine QB backing up a stud QB, say if the team traded for Watson. He has legs to move the offense and enough of an arm to test teams deep. He's not a long term answer but he's a guy that can at least come in and make a few plays. Will Grier obviously is a bust and will probably transition to selling real estate or something. Panthers QB situation might be one of the worst in the NFL.
  2. Still mystified this team didn't pick Justin Fields. Darnold is by no means a sure thing, neither is Fields, but it would have given this team two young, CHEAP QB's to battle it out and hopefully one of them would have emerged. QB is infinitely more important to win than CB.
  3. Good throw. But it’s easy to look good in training camp with no pressure in your face.
  4. I think the anti-vax conspiracy is propagated by the deep-state uber-wealthy elitist to control the low-IQ population.
  5. classic darnell nosewhistle with the hot scoop
  6. Better than starting 0-4! But for real this team started 6-2 in 2018, 5-3 in 2019, and 3-2 in 2020. So I put zero stock into how this team starts.
  7. DJ Moore obvious after that I don’t know who is worth keeping around. Maybe Jermaine Carter?
  8. Nah but if his offense struggles in the red zone with a different QB and a healthy CMC then I think he should be evaluated in year 3
  9. Watson comes with too much baggage. That massage sh*t needs to be done and settled before they should even consider a trade for him. And that’s not even including the ludicrous price the Texans want for him.
  10. Washington is a horrible franchise run by a horrible owner and I don’t know why Ron thought it was a good idea to coach there. He could have done much better.
  11. I think the Panthers and Teddy himself would like to forget the 2020 season ever happened. He already erased all posts that showed him in a Panthers uniform.
  12. I’m at least a little more excited about this season than last season but that’s not saying much. But in a scale of 1-10, 10 being I’m pooping myself I’m so hyped, I’m like a 3.
  13. The fact they had Justin Fields fall to them and they didn’t pick him is still mind numbing. The only thing Sam Darnold has accomplished in the NFL is missing half a season with mono.
  14. That's Clarkson McDuffery, classic Newton.
  15. It was a no brainer. Moton is an elite player who never missed a single game. Samuel is a good player but more easily replaced, and he probably peaked last season. He is also a bigger risk to miss games due to injury.
  16. Yea I’m interested for the right price. His value is much lower given the rub n tug biz
  17. Hell yea this is the content the Huddle needs to see. That's awesome and I hope he has a great season.
  18. 7-10. Defense is better, McCaffrey stays healthy, so more wins come. But Darnold doesn’t take the next step and the team struggles to protect the ball and move the offense consistently.
  19. Unless there's some other reason they didn't pick Fields (scouts knew something about him the public didn't), you have to throw resources at the QB position until you find your guy. QB is so much higher value than CB it's not even close. If Darnold doesn't pan out this coaching staff might not even be around to try to find the next QB.
  20. There's a very high chance Darnold is a bust. He was mediocre to downright awful on the Jets, with flashes of potential sprinkled in. Knowing that, the Panthers still traded for him, and then passed on Justin Fields. The Panthers were so desperate to get rid of Teddy Bridgewater, but refused to double down at the QB position to get it solved. Doesn't make any sense to me.
  21. Wish he lived in Charlotte during his playing career. And played for the Panthers. Smitty and Moss holy poo.
  22. depending on how bad the team is next season it might be Rhule's last season in 2022 if they don't figure out the QB situation.
