  1. He doesn’t know how to hire people. He gets excited about people he likes personally who can smooth talk him, even if they are not good fits for the job.
  2. Even though we lost, I still thoroughly enjoyed watching the defense. Winning is cool but it doesn't have to be everything.
  3. Appreciate the time and effort to do this and the write-up. Have a pie. I love these All-22s but don't have the time to do them myself.
  4. 49ers. CMC is still my favorite player in the NFL. I would have taken him in FF this year too had I picked early enough.
  5. Impressed Bryce Sucked OL - Bryce had barely any time to throw Corral - The OL backups did him no favors at all. But even when he did get some time to throw, he just didn't pass the eye test IMO. We know now there is a good reason he was drafted in the third round. Guy just doesn't seem to be that good. Poor pocket awareness. The game seems too fast for him.
  6. Not good to get shut out, but it’s still preseason. It’s about as basic as can be. If we look like this against Atlanta, I’ll be concerned.
  7. The way he's holding the ball makes a difference. left - not holding a ball, arms loose and unflexed. Right - holding a ball in a way that forces him to flex more. But he's also a QB. How do bigger muscles help him? He isn't blocking anyone or rushing the passer
  8. It's nice to win them but preseason is nothing like regular season. No game planning, established guys play little if at all (and they're usually going maybe 50% if they do play), and the guys who do play typically won't play more than mop-up minutes once the games count. You just don't want to see as few injuries as possible.
  9. I bet I'm not alone in sharing this experience. I went to Fan Fest for the first time since like 2013 this year. I went solely to see Bryce. He did not disappoint.
  10. Really? That's a ton of muscle to add even for a professional athlete.
  11. Reports indicating Bryce is missing nothing today. Sheesh. All the incompletions so far sound like drops.
  12. My brother used to live in Brownsville TX. He said they have a parade there every Sunday the Cowboys play, home or away and win or lose. Assuming I'm remembering right and he was right, that's nuts to me.
  13. I'm fine with Young. I'd prefer him to Stroud due to his better abilities dealing with the pass rush. But if we took Stroud I'd trust the coaches. I don't think Young's size is nearly as big of a deal as it's made out to be. He's undeniably a statistical outlier, but that didn't seem to matter in the SEC.
  14. Talent is obviously tantalizing but hell no to a fully guaranteed contract. Deshaun's contract is going to ruin the Browns if it didn't already.
  15. He did not play well. Wilks just did a better job of gameplanning to keep his mistakes to a minimum.
  16. Darnold played decently down the stretch? LOL come on now he was 5 for 15 43 yards and 2 ghastly picks week 18.
  17. Young please. I don't watch much college football, but what I did see from Bryce Young was tremendous elusiveness, poise, and command of the field. Just like Russell Wilson seemed too small for the NFL but compensated by being elusive, I think Bryce can do the same.
  18. Good enough I guess. At least we finally hired an offensive head coach. Really wanted either Steichen or Johnson but nothing we could do about Johnson and something went sideways with Steichen.
  19. I know it's a tough pill to swallow and would be weird as fug to see him in Panthers colors but you can't deny his cred as a coach. If he helps us win, even the ones who hate the idea will hold their nose and cheer for him.
  20. IMO he isn't worth more than about a million per year. I see him more as a 3rd stringer
  21. Don't want. Still want a guy who knows offense inside and out.
  22. Yes. Not something to be ignored. But it’s also not necessarily a valid reason to bring Wilks back.
