  1. It was a damn layup. In a situation where we needed 6 with 2 plays left in the game. The play was called for Theilen to get 6 there and it was there. Again, this was supposed to be a strength of Young’s. He comes in below average in so many other areas that if his one strength isn’t going to carry over he is doomed.
  2. Considering all they’ve done is tell us how smart Bryce is and how much they’ve been able to put on his plate it’s becoming quite obvious which one it is
  3. Deemed uncatchable because his route running has been all over the Damn place or he slips coming out of his break
  4. Yep and you can’t tell me a guy like Chark can’t get deep. He’s been doing it since he came into the league.
  5. Acknowledges the OL struggles, the lack of speed on the perimeter but also says Bryce needs to be better. And that’s just the truth
  6. Welp there it is. Like a few of us had pointed out earlier, JT says the Theilen double move is absolutely there and that ball has to be thrown. Says Minnesota gave us a gift Maybe those in denial we’ll listen now that it’s coming from JT JT even goes as far as saying he feels bad for Theilen here
  7. How hasn’t he? He should’ve started the second he finished playing Kansas St. He spent more time trying to retain water in the days leading up to the combine than he did trying to gain real weight all offseason I get that he was super busy with appearances and etc but all that goes away if you’re not successful in the NFL. In order for him to give himself a chance at that he needs to add weight. He’s a professional athlete and calories/working out are part of the job At some point he might seriously want to consider taking the CMC route
  8. Given Young’s limitations athletically, it’s even more important he gains about 15 pounds. It blows my mind for someone who’s apparently super smart that this wasn’t his focus this past offseason In order to buy time and hang onto the ball he’s going to need to get bigger, faster and stronger. He’s simply not good enough the way he is right now
  9. The worst part about this is we absolutely HAD to have a touchdown here. It was the end of the game. So what? You didn’t like this look and thought you’d get a better on 4th down? No chance. As soon as the ball was snapped you could tell if Theilen got his guy to bite (he did) on the first move it was a layup for a touchdown.
  10. Same here I figured teams like Zona and Tampa were openly tanking and there would be no way we’d be worse than them. It was a rare situation where the team at 1 was willing to trade out. So no issues with shooting their shot but you absolutely couldn’t miss and now here we are
  11. This is when the ball needed to be thrown. Bryce got rave reviews for his ability to throw with anticipation. So how does he not see this? When Theilen hit the defender with the double move he was going to be open
  12. I can’t remember who but someone did a video on this and they said his footwork is like that so he can drop back on his toes and see the field. Which sure fine BUT then you get situations like this and he’s screwed. Not to mention he doesn’t have the arm strength to recovery quickly from it if need be. He has to gather and rip.
  13. Yep this is the throw many of us have been talking about. That should be a touchdown.
  14. I just feel like this pick needed to be a home run. Like a Cam Newton type home run. Someone who has the ability to succeed on any given day despite the incompetence of this organization starting from the very top down to the janitor. As long as Tepper is in charge a generational QB is our only hope. He’s the worst owner in the NFL. He hasn’t gotten anything right so far and I don’t see that changing. The chances of him stringing together a couple good decision back to back with a QB, HC and GM are 0. Which with a guy like Bryce our success is dependant on those hires.
  15. Bates has him questioning his arm and now Flores has him questioning his brain
  16. Bryce will forever be fully dependant on being surrounded with high level talent and a really good HC/OC like Tua If Bryce was capable of taking over a game we don’t lose games like we did to the Vikes or Saints. I’m very curious to see what the Dolphins do with Tua. How different would someone like Josh Dobbs, Brisett or a Kenny Pickett’s numbers look compared to Tua’s if they were QB in Miami right now?
  17. I’ve watched the first 3 quarters. I’m just whipping through our offensive plays quick fast to see if there was anything Bryce missed and so far I feel a lot better about Bryce after watching this. I mean as far as him seeing the game. I will forever question his arm strength until he proves to me he has the strength On the drive that he fumbled on id argue on the check down to Chuba at midfield he had Chark on a shallow crosser that was the better option. Chark might have been able to turn the corner and get up field for 10 or so. Nothing game changing Then on the last series in the 3rd on 3rd down he took a sack. He may have been able to anticipate the 15 and in by Chark but it’s iffy As far as making the right reads it’s all there for Bryce. This offense is garbage and yeah, the few times there are deep routes available they’re well covered. Not just well covered 1 on 1 and take a shot and give your WR a chance to make a play I mean there’s literally nothing there. He did give Chark a chance that one play and it looks like he got bumped on the follow through hence the ball being grossly underthrown I think I’ve seen enough and won’t bother with the 4th quarter
  18. Two that instantly come to mind 1. the seam ball Young should’ve thrown for a TD to Theilen 2. the ball he threw just behind Theilen in the middle of the field, Chark was running deep down the middle. Had he waited a split second longer he would’ve seen Chark turn around Lastly it’s hard to really know because our super processor was busy getting fooled by Flores and checking into a screen play 95% of the time I’m about to watch the all 22. Not sure how much I’ll be able to sit through but we’ll see
  19. Honestly, yep. They’re terrible owners (duh) and that’s obviously never changing.
  20. This will be Nicole’s organization one day. It’s very much a Dave AND Nicole thing
  21. Same. I heard if it wasn’t Bryce it was going to be AR and not Stroud So the one who’s succeeding the most right now we had the least desire for… go figure
  22. Yeah those deep drop backs were fine at Bama when he had the protection/time and WR’s that are wide ass open but in the NFL he doesn’t have the arm strength to make “NFL open” type throws consistently
  23. Anyone got anymore of those 10 yard incompletions????
  24. There’s always a good players sitting there at 33 that somehow fell out of the 1st round! Maybe even a QB we can jump up a spot to grab at 32…
