Because you are just a fan and can't see the big picture. You lack true football knowledge. Matt Rhule has a plan and it's wor.... Yeah, it's fugging stupid and shortsighted.

Ericcson Stadium inaugural home opener against the Falcons with my dad. We hadn't been getting along much, but for those few hours, nothing else mattered but football, me and my pops. We won, I got major sunburn, and easily one of the best days I wish I had been smart enough to have more of.

TE Eric Ebron wants to play for the Panthers

It always was with Elfein on the roster. We need a more capable backup. If Mays can learn the position, he has the attitude and nasty streak I like to see in linemen.
-
Bill Belicheck is still a D-bag.
-
C- Bozeman, Elfien G - Corbitt, BC, Mays, Daley T- Moton, Icky, BC (swing), Erving. That's my 9 olinemen. Starting lineup Icky, BC, Bozeman, Corbitt, Moton BC is backup swing tackle Mays and Daley backup guards, teach Mays center Daley backup somewhere but expendable. Jordan has no place at guard much less running with the 1s.
-
All I'm really upset about is how long we took to evaluate BC. He hasn't looked bad at LT and it may not have been as pressing a need if we had done due diligence. Nothing against Icky at all, I thing he's going to be a phenomenal lineman for us. I just think the situation could have been handled better.

For now, BC, Icky, Bozeman, Corbett, Moton. The only reason I have Icky at G over BC is I think the drop-off would be more severe having BC at guard. He's never played well at guard and our other option for now is Jordan. If we could upgrade from Jordan, or have Mays on that side performing decently, I'd like to see BC as the swing tackle.

If Elflein and Boseman aren't the answer

I'm not there yet as far as him being another Paradis. It takes time for a starting line to gel, especially when it's 4 guys are new to the team. Name the starters, let them play together and tell the other guys they have to take the position from them. This really isn't rocket science when it comes to an oline. -
Terrance Marshall jr must be a magician

Soft tissue injuries are a bitch. It doesn't take much to reinjure. Hopefully not a common reoccurring theme though. -
I was looking forward to football again but right now I have a feeling I'm going to need a lot of alcohol on Sundays if I decide to watch a game.

I love football too but that doesn't make me qualified to be a NFL head coach.

Player snap counts vs Commanders

He's like Marty Hurney's gut feeling after round 1. -
Why did he bring them in? He was told he bring in an offensive Rockstar or he was fired. This wasn't a choice for Rhule, this was a demand.
-
Maybe he needs actual reps because he doesn't learn as well by reading it. I can read something 20 times and not understand, then put my hands on it once and never forget it. Not everyone learns the same way. But we've all learned that Sam is not a starter and PJ isn't a capable backup. The only one who hasn't learned this is Rhay-Z.
-
Well by your assessment, Rhule is a fuging idiot. Teams have one starter and a backup. A guy that can finish a game or play 2 if necessary. Teams don't carry 2 season capable starting QBs. There's no point. You have a starter, a backup, and a developmental QB. Foles winning the SB was an aberration, definitely not the norm.
-
It doesn't matter if he's relegated to 4th string. The fact he was drafted was all that needed to be said. PJ isn't the answer as a backup. If he was, there was no need to draft MC. If SD was the answer, there would have been no need to trade for Baker. So what we have is a traded for starter, a traded for draft QB, a bust starting QB and a QB that was replaced in the draft. The FO has already affirmed what everyone in the NFL and fans with common sense knows. Darnold isn't a starter and PJ is replaceable.
-
It was. For every person on the Huddle that could see it plain as day the second it happened. But this will be Instance 27 or 35 or 200 of we were right, and you were wrong, Huddle edition.
-
He should be number 2 because you drafted him in the 3rd round to be something. If you didn't, he shouldn't be here. Sam is what he is. He's a turnover machine with happy feet that can't go beyond his first read. PJ is a CFL caliber QB. Corral is more than both because he hasn't had a chance and they have. And how is he supposed to prove anything getting a couple reps a day.
-
Baker is our 1. Matt should be our 2, and Sam/PJ should be competing for 3. We know what Sam and PJ both are. Sam is in the NFL right now because of his draft position. PJ is in the NFL because of nepotism. Rhule is a college coach that's been exposed. 1000%

Why is PJ Walker EVEN on the team?
SmokinwithWilly replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah. Let's not develop our 3rd round pick so we can trade PJ gor a conditional 2024 7th. -

WR Competition-How many do we Keep? Who gets Cut?

He didn't miss him, just figures him to be on IR week 1 -
Normally I would agree but Jordan at guard is scarier than Elflein
-
Excellent content. Hadn't thought about the Baker/Bozeman connection being used on 1's and 2's so they're developing chemistry. Still wish we would get the whole starting lineup working together. You're right. Having Jordan as the starting LG is still a bit shocking.
