  1. Most RBs also need to get in a rhythm to get going, can't really do that with the workload available behind McCaffrey....
  2. fuging Teddy Shitwater threw away that Chinn TD game
  3. Looks can be deceiving, over time the injuries will pile up at a higher rate than in the past. That's the reality. It's better than a complete dogshit grass field that isn't maintained well (see Redskins with RGIII). But when maintained well like BofA always has been, grass is just significantly better. Just Tepper being a greedy asshole with his stupid fuging soccer team.
  4. I think that's what it is, but they didn't make that clear and it's still not the best analogy. That's focused solely on the Aints rather than anything we did. We're just really fuging good, no Trojan Horse tricks from us. Either way, the content of the article was great, fun to watch some of those plays again and get a better look at what was going on with a few viewings.
  5. Nothing I said before this season has been proved wrong, in fact I'm not really surprised by anything we've seen so far. That being said, I'll eat some more crow on Phil Snow (I already kind of did last year). When we hired him I thought it was going to be a disaster and another situation like with Ron where we'd be stuck with a mediocre/bad coordinator for years and years. But he was rock solid without a ton of talent last year and this year he's taken it a step further with more talent. Phenomenal choice of DC based on the results so far. I mean, everybody had us projected as a bottom 3 D last year, I thought we'd be worst in the entire league and it wouldn't be close. Yet we wound up being average. And sitting #1 in the league after 2 weeks this year. Man, what a friggin turn around from how bleak things looked on that side of the ball after the 2019 season which was a disaster.
  6. Offense: McCaffrey, DJ, Sam (if he keeps it up and other QBs drop out like they always do), Moton. Defense: Burns, Reddick, Shaq, Chinn. Special Teams: LOL
  7. They were somewhat decent with Tyrod playing out of his mind. They are terrible with this scrub rookie in at QB. Not concerned in the least bit about this being a trap game.
  8. Such a great headline and picture. Iconic, really. Cheated out of a SB win, still such a special season.
  9. yeah with him I'd still be comfortable with at least a close win, but he's been great and would've made it likely competitive. with the scrub rookie against our D I really just cannot imagine us losing this game. But I've seen crazier things in my life so taking nothing for granted.
  10. A reminder that Rams fans were upset they couldn't keep him http://www.laramsfans.com/viewtopic.php?t=37496&p=263202
  11. Woof what a terrible, terrible article. The Ned move is still the biggest head scratcher, but there are plenty of legitimate reasons to be unconvinced that he was the answer in net, despite last year's success. We'll just have to see what happens in net going forward. Letting Dougie walk was the only option for this team. He was drastically overpaid on the open market and wasn't offering us a discount. That will be one of the worst contracts in the league in 3-5 years. Kotkaniemi a "low-ceiling offensive player"??? Come on, that is completely ridiculous. The kid is 21 years old and has never had a real opportunity to play legitimate minutes in the NHL with good linemates and was a top 3 overall pick. He has a massive ceiling. Certainly a risk giving up the draft capital, but the $6M this year was just part of the acquisition cost to snatch a young RFA from another team -- unless he does completely burst out onto the scene this season, we'll be able to keep him for much cheaper than that per year going forward. Regarding DeAngelo, sure it's a risk if he has any dumb off ice issues but hockey-wise it's an absolute no brainer. He can replace Dougie's offensive production for dirt cheap. It was a 100% necessary move for this team after letting Dougie walk.
  12. ST was definitely pretty shameful, but fortunately that is the least important of the 3 phases of the game and we dominated the other 2.
  13. Well we've had a pretty balanced attack and have had positive game script from the start in both games. DJ and Christian were always going to be the top 2 in the pecking order. After them the ball has been spread around pretty well, which is a good thing. I think Sam has been trying to get Robbie going downfield, obviously paid off in week 1 but he just missed him on a couple downfield shots against the Aints. Marshall is just being brought along slowly, which makes sense for a 2nd round rookie. He's had some nice plays and also some miscues in week 1. Arnold who developed chemistry with Sam in TC had a real nice game on relatively low targets and of course Zylstra flashed too. I'm not really concerned about the usage, there will be games where we have negative game script and need to pass more and Robbie and Marshall will be more involved. In games like these first 2 we just haven't really needed them to get peppered with targets.
  14. We ran a 3-4 in Rivera's last year, and it was mostly a disaster.
  15. Lol why would we have some random week 2 game against the Aints without Brees circled? Everyone and their mother knows that the critical matchups for us this year and the real games that are "circled" are the Bucs games and Bills game.
  16. Well he did put up 12.5 sacks last year, that's not quite as surprising...
  17. With the scrub rookie at QB they may never even have the field position to attempt a 60 yard FG...
  18. Yeah I had zero expectations that this guy would do anything. I was too used to us signing the biggest scrubs in the fuging world like Dontari Poe and Paul fuging Soliai. Such a welcome surprise (well, shock really) to see Fox dominating these first couple games. Dude is an absolute stud and has shown everything you could ask for and more. Hope he keeps it up.
  19. Huge upgrade for the secondary to lock down that slot position. Can't wait for his debut.
  20. "No one could've imagined a 3-0 start" what? everyone had us favorited against Jets and Texans going into the season, why couldn't anyone imagine the Panthers beating the Aints in Carolina, it's a division game for damn sake.
  21. KC would be better off allowing a TD here and then going for a TD and 2 point conversion of their own. If not, Ravens will just run the clock out on the ground easily.
  22. Oof KC... Don't take the ball out of your best player's hands at the end of the game.
  23. I’d trade for a guard before a tackle. Erving has been fine. Guard depth is poor.
  24. They haven’t done anything because the Texans haven’t played him. If they decided to start playin him the media would make a huge stink about it and the league would have no choice but to quiet it down by putting him on the exempt list.
