I know that Fields is not Haskins. My point was, if he has issues that are not correctable in the NFL, we are better off drafting one of the other studs who will be sitting there at 8. If Fields is still there at 8, a bunch of teams have those concerns. Look, if we draft him I hope he is the best thing since sliced bread and he leads us to the SB every year. I'm just letting you know there are concerns out there about him.

Sounding like more and more teams have concerns about Fields' ability to process and make progressions. He looked good in the underwear Olympics, but he may indeed be available when we pick. Of course, if he is Dwayne Haskins Part 2, no thanks.

I knew a girl many years ago who was raped by an on-duty police officer that she did not know! That disgust me, particularly since I am now a cop and hate those who cause harm to the profession. Anyway, that poor girl, who was 18 at the time, never reported it to police. I have had other GFs who were also sexually abused in their lives and never reported it. But, I am still suspicious of this Watson case. There are several things about it that just smell fishy. I say we wait it out to see how things go. If the allegations don't stick, I would be willing to bring him on. Some team will, regardless of the outcome - I am not in that boat.

Pitts may be the best player in this draft. I have seen him rated #2 behind TL. If we can get him at 8, have to consider it. I heard him called a generational type player at his position.

Yeah, this is tricky because most are going to vote "gunslinger" right now because of TB. But another TB, Tom Brady, just won a SB being a game manager. Additionally, you dont want a gunslinger that throws more picks than TDs.

Starting to think if no QB is there we want, then grab one of the tackles or trade down and get extra picks.

I'm not attached to anyone. He is a Texan, and if he did what they accuse him of, he should never play football again. I'm just willing to let it play out before assuming he is guilty. Remember, this is a CIVIL case. There are already obvious holes in the stories of some of these accusers. For example, the lady who claims to have been sexually assaulted by DW on 2 different occasions. Um, if he did it once, why would she make another appointment with him? Many questions need to be answered. There are many in the past who have been wrongly accused by just as many as DW currently is.

Yeah, because when a large group of people gang up on 1 person, they are usually right. OK - A lot of innocent black men and women fell victim to that mentality in the last several hundred years. But, I guess that doesn't happen anymore.

Yes, a strength of this staff is that they do not live and die with one way of doing things (on either side of the ball). Adjustments are made dependent on personnel, opponent, etc. I am excited about what the future holds once all the pieces are in place.

A lot of question marks about Lance. I am still intrigued, but would not want to give up much beyond the #8 pick to get him. Accuracy issues, issues throwing to the right side of the field, small sample size of work, he seemed to regress in his 1 game last season, etc. And if the Panthers wind up letting him slide past 8, I will trust their evaluation of him. There will be some real studs sitting there when we are on the clock. If they are not convinced that Lance is one, I will be ok with that.
