  1. I'd take Pickett over Willis. The plus sides to Willis is his upside and his potential. I'm scared of spending a number one on those factors. His accuracy seems to be a weakness. Sure, he could be great, or he could be Winston (who we could pick up right now). Pickett is the most transparent of, this is what you are getting for your pick. That being said, I'd rather we pick up a Mariota or Winston and let him and Darnold fight it out in camp. Spend the 6 on a playmaking S, LB, T or WR and look at QB when there are better choices.
  2. It looks like we are signing mostly offensive free agents. Could that mean if we do trade defensive players, we draft defense again? Edited: forgot about Woods.
  3. I need a few more years to make a solid comparison.
  4. The US State Department announced today that if Russia does not withdrawal troops from Ukraine, they will broadcast Panthers games over their airwaves next fall.
  5. His arms are too long to be a guard and his astrological symbol isn't fit for a Tackle, but he is left handed.
  6. I'd definitely trade him for a 1 or a 2. He is at best a 2nd WR. He is inconsistent and not dominant and sometimes just looks like he doesn't have focus. I am hoping TMJ starts to put it together this year. We need a guy that can be a red zone threat.
  7. I have to apologize. For some reason in my mind I was thinking Earl Thomas when I read that. Please excuse my comment.
  8. Except it wasn't our defense that lost us the superbowl. It was the inability to stop the Broncos pass rush.
  9. Doesn't he have consistent injury problems?
  10. I think it's a legitimate concern. It's not when things are going good, but when getting ready to throw and getting his arm hit or in inclement weather, it could be an issue.
  11. Draft. My plan would be to stick with Darnold this year since he's already under contract. Build the Oline. if Darnold doesn't improve his play, we have a high end pick for a QB next year who gets the benefit of a better line. If FA, we need to look at upgrading safety, linebacker and tight end.
  12. I don't think he would have done much better here. Maybe 2 or 3 more wins. Stafford could have made those same throws at the end and have half of them dropped. We don't have reliable playmakers outside of McCaffrrey.
  13. Didn't realize he played for Baylor. Should he send us his resume?
  14. My thoughts exactly. Gonzalez made us forget the fear that Slye left us with when we had to kick a field goal or extra point. Abdulla was also a decent returner.
  15. Nixon wasn't going to change a whole lot of the offense. You can't install a new offense during the season. He lost a lot of players and had to play some stronger teams too. It's hard to say if he was better or worse than Brady with what he had to work with.
  16. So, lets say he had kid size hands. Could he hold a football? Absolutely not. So there is a point where the size of the hands are going to become a problem. The argument is going to be where that lies, but there is no doubt that hand size can be a factor. FWIW, I always had to grip a football closer to the end. I noticed most NFL QBs grip it closer to the center. My grip would have been hard to keep from getting it knocked out or pulling it back down from a passing motion.
  17. Apparently, they did just enough. Kansas City won. They actually held buffalos defense to no points! (I know what you meant.)
  18. I like Watson, but the 2019 Panthers held him to 160 passing yards and no TDs. That was the Kyle Allen led Panthers. He isn't Jesus and he isn't going to come resurrect or Lazarus offense alone.
