They can fake an injury if they need to but we need Dalton to get us a few wins to avoid the embarrassment of gifting a #1 overall for nothing.

The only plus of this ridiculous mess is that Young is a rookie on a rookie contract. Better situation than say the Giants giving Jones a long term deal. We'll be last next season and get our guy at #1 overall in 2025. The new coach will understand that.

Yeah he's washed. Not much tread left. Might be his last career game of 100+. Levis has not looked great, worse than Young. I remember getting scorched for saying only 1 QB would emerge from this class. Sure wish it would have been our guy.

I try to root for other teams in other sports but my heart just isn't in it. I only have an emotional investment (which has also been a financial investment) in the Panthers. We clearly have a top-down problem. In the corporate world, the Board fires the CEO. In the NFL, you're screwed for 20 years or until the owner dies or sells. -
Fair play from Tre. Still think The CMC trade was a good one. We needed so much depth that the picks were worth it. Unfortunately, as we all know, our GM turned those picks into zero players that even contribute.

I'm with you there. Definite respect to the dudes playing hard until the whistle blows despite knowing the outcome before it starts. Don't think we should play Dalton. Might win us a few games. All we have at this point is the 33rd pick. Our new GM has to find a Hall of Famer there (any position), and then get our QB with 1 overall in 2025.
