  1. Ranking WRs is so subjective and especially for rookies. I think Coker, Legette, and Sanders are solid options that I expect to be much improved in year 2. Go grab another vet WR in free agency and let's let the young guys eat. No way are our offensive weapons in the bottom 5. Sorry, but I don't agree with this.
  2. I think the avg points per game post Bryce benching is top 12ish in the NFL.
  3. I don't see how anyone can be disappointed with him at this point. He took on a complete dumpster fire and in a short amount of time, has the Panthers playing respectable football again. No GM hits on every player and so far, he's hit on some good ones and if this continues, the Panthers have something to look forward to. The Huddle complains about everything these days.
  4. I don't think WR is as desperate as many here believe it is. Post-benching Bryce didn't have any issues putting points on the board and moving the ball. With an average to above average defense, the Panthers are a respective team. I suspect Coker, Legette, and Sanders will be much improved with a year under their belt. I'd love to see them grab a stud WR, but they shouldn't take on a bad contract.
  5. I would sign Cam as a buck-up and then cut him. He needs a good humbling.
  6. Cam was a great player and I enjoyed watching him play and for what he did for the city of Charlotte. However, I've always cringed when he speaks and I really cringe these days. Everything is about him and he has always seemed fake to me and turns it on when the cameras are on.
  7. They aren't as replaceable as us fans like to think because we've lost a lot of games because of missed kicks.
  8. With Bryce playing well, our offense scored plenty of points. I do think the Panthers need to add another weapon on offense and Higgins would be my preference.
  9. This is one of the few players at a critical position that it is worth paying a king's ransom. I actually think the Panthers will be considered a playoff contender next year, but not a Super Bowl contender. I doubt this happens, but it would be an amazing pick up.
  10. He is a younger, more injury prone Thielen. I just don't think it makes sense here with Thielen having another year on a friendly contract. I like Higgins must better.
  11. Panthers football is getting enjoyable to watch again. Bryce is smiling. I have hope.
  12. Can't change a culture where you encourage guys to not want to win all the time.
  13. Entire team looked flat today. This loss is not just on Bryce.
  14. Just a bad day all around. These games happen when you are building a young team
  15. Canales is a good coach. Pinero and Hubbard lost this game.
  16. Rookies always talk about how fast the NFL is and eventually the light bulb comes on and the game appears to slow down. I think this plus Bryce appears to have his swagger back is the reason for the change.
  17. The offense isn't the problem at the moment and it will only improve once Coker and Sanders get back. This statement should be seen as a positive because no one would have uttered these words a month ago.
  18. Bryce looks better for sure. Just be thankful Watson isn’t our QB and many here wanted him bad including our owner.
  19. Bad teams are generally thin at most positions and it takes time to build the reserves. I think Morgan put a lot of stock in Wonnum producing and this has been a big disappointment. Brown and Shaq's injuries were significant and despite what us fans say, the defense is much better with Shaq on the field.
  20. Coker, Legette, Sanders, and Brooks are going to be a lot of fun to watch the next couple of years and I hope they continue to develop. Just need to find a QB to get the ball to them.
  21. A bad look for sure, but I think Moore tweaked something but he still should have finished the play. Moore doesn't seem to like Caleb and Caleb strikes me as the type of guy that when he misses a throw it is always someone else's fault.
  22. I wish Mingo the best but possession receivers with questionable hands don't fare well in the NFL and I hope he pulls it together.
  23. Makes zero sense to trade Bryce mid-season.
  24. Mondays on the Huddle after a win or loss are always an overreaction and super entertaining.
  25. I'd love to see this stat broken down by each team during the same time period. I bet some of the good teams aren't much better at drafting then the middle of the road teams but they make up for it in free agency.
