  1. You really think we are trotting Darnold out in Week 1 when Baker is getting the chance for a revenge game against his old team?
  2. So this whole thing about snopes got started because a poster in this thread claimed that over half of active players in the NFL have had a felony charge. People rightfully questioned what his source of that data was. He never answered the question, but It piqued my curiosity because it sounded so out there. A quick google search led me to the snopes article. As soon as I posted the link which breaks down where this myth originated (a social media post from a random guy who doesn’t like football players kneeling for the anthem and doesn’t understand math), I got an “lol you trust snopes” response. I haven’t had a single person yet tell me what was wrong specifically with their findings In this article, so am I to take it that the random social media user is who I should believe? What’s more likely?
  3. I was 100% being sarcastic. Apparently that didn’t come through very well.
  4. You need a more reliable source like a random guy who shares your political views on Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube that “did his own research”
  5. Allen being the #1 QB entering college was a legit talking point around these parts when discussing his worth as a franchise QB.
  6. The only thing about the list that surprises me is that Kliff Kingsbury isn’t in the top 3 and has the same odds as Vrabel. Side note, if the Colts fire Frank Reich, he should be on a plane to Charlotte the next day
  7. I don't how you can't say there were repercussions. The first throw was on a third down and would have been a easy first down putting them in the red zone. Instead they settle for a FG. If they score a TD there, it's a 14 point lead instead of 10 (and even if they still settle for a FG it's more time coming off the clock with a lead). I'll give you the second throw since they scored a TD on that drive. The third one was absolutely critical. It was the first drive after the Chiefs finally scored their first TD since the first quarter to make it a 3 point game. Instead of another first down that keeps the clock moving with a lead with 5 minutes to go in the game, it's a 3 and out that took only one minute off the clock and gave the ball right back to KC who then scored the go ahead TD. You first said it's the defense's fault which is what I took issue with.
  8. Man that thread was a fun read. Especially the guy talking up Kyle Allen as a franchise QB.
  9. He is not going to even open your DM since you aren’t giving him the proper respect of being GaRRY with 2 Rs Cobb.
  10. Oh that wasn't the only bad throw/bad decision, here's 3 more that killed drives that could have kept the defense off the field. Your claim was that it was the defense that lost the game - I say it never comes to that if Jimmy was a better QB.
  11. The defense held a nasty Chiefs offense to 10 points and forced two picks in the first 3 quarters. They can only do so much...And yet the Niners were running the ball for 6 yards a carry, and had the ball with under two minutes to go at midfield....and then Jimmy "the winner" did this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=phDx7XSSD9g
  12. Pretty much every argument about the O line and Sam was being made for why we needed to give Jimmy Clausen one more year also. Can you imagine how stupid we would have been to pass on Cam at #1 to build around Jimmy because of some hopeful notion that having a better offensive line would make every QB who has shown bad instincts into Tom Brady?
  13. He would never lower himself to post his inside sources on this message board.
  14. It's Garry Cobb with two Rs, because he is royalty. Don't besmirch his name like that again.
  15. They actually did have free beer set up near the front gate for the last game of the season against Tampa. They ran out at halftime.
  16. You do realize that Jordan didn't own the team until 2010?
  17. No response to any of my posts on this logic, he knows he is in over his head in discussing actual football. It’s almost like he knows nothing about it, and joined the board because he’s a fan of the owner instead of the team or the NFL.
  18. Parcels was saying that about the team, not specifically the quarterback. Which is hilarious given how much you love to prop up Matt Rhule and ignore his record which speaks pretty loudly about who he is. By your definition, Matthew Stafford’s career record with the Lions of 74-90-1 means that he’s a loser. I wonder why the Rams decided to trade for him since their previous QB had a much better winning record of 42-27 with a Super Bowl appearance and other playoff appearances.
  19. Lol, it’s bad enough that you can’t display critical thinking to just post WINZ WINZ WINZ like it’s literally only the two QBs on the opposing sides of the field who are playing one on one in football, but now you are posting those stats from years before Shanahan even coached the niners.
  20. I mean, he's really fantastically smart for proving his point by posting repeatedly that "Jimmy is a winner" and adding a few emjois to it to really show his superiority
  21. Jared Goff was too….and yet the Rams couldn’t wait to that trade that “winner” for a “loser” like Matthew Stafford.
  22. To just automatically say nope that guy can’t succeed because he went to a school on the west coast as opposed to playing in the SEC is pretty lazy dude and you know it. Ask the dolphins if they want a redo in taking Tua over Herbert if that was really the deciding factor. Regarding your second paragraph, I’m expecting you to show your work because you there the take out there. Otherwise, off the top of my head I can name Herbert, Rodgers, Luck, and Derek Carr.
