Best ability is availability. We passed on some really good players for a CB that isn’t the rookie CB contributing this year. Next year will be huge for Horn, hopefully it was a freak injury.

Gilmore and Taylor were cheap and are productive. Horn and Henderson cost too much and are not producing, at least not yet. We won't know much more until next year where everyone needs to be contributing or they were a mistake. Keep Gilmore at this point. The most depressing part isn't that we spent on 4 CBs this offseadon, it's that the brain trust thought a top D could make up for the crap O they put together while spending so much draft capital needed to help fix the O.

With PJ expected to play 4 quarters? I think it's safe to assume we may have to play him.

They were failing and it's been years since this was a winning team. It was showing in the stands and in GameDay sales. The Darnold move imploded on them. I don't know how this all came to be but at this point I hope this offseason and first half of the season was a huge learning experience for them all and today marks a giant change in direction for the better. As far as thr win now mentality, I have a feeling Rhule picked that up from Hurney. He was all about that life. I swear the 5 year rebuild was just a CYA move that wasn't the SOP behind the scenes.

I'm 100% more interested in Panther's football but my excitement is tempered. I don't know what shape Cam is in, I don't know how he will mesh with Brady and I don't know if I can stop laughing at how fun this will be regardless of any of the first two. Let's take a breath and see what Cam can do, then we can tear the walls down and drink for fun and not sadness.

There are ZERO good answers now, Cam is the best option left on the table. Maybe he comes back and gets injured, he was going to do it for someone eventually and we are 1 for 1 on guys being cast off in NE. Maybe nothing changes and it's so bad here that it's burn it all down time, so we were headed that way anyways.

We never had a threat in the passing game this year, I accepted that before the season started. We could have ran wildcat last game and been a more viable offense.

We are a fun team with Cam. Start there and let them earn anything more than that. That's a huge win in a year where taking a dump is more entertaining than watching these games.

If we use him like CMC early in the year, I am 100% with you. If we use him like CMC last game then I am very intrigued. Cam is older, I don't want to see young Cam. I want to see what I always wanted to see with Cam, an old man leading us to victory using his experience.

Serious question. With all the open WRs, did it matter with Sam who has scored 1 TD in his last 4 games?

Any TDs is impressive since Sam hasn't scored one in the past 3 games he played...

The expectation bar is low, anything positive would be fun at this point. We had zero better options. I could have hope that Cam will dump that damn ball off if they show him how the blocking has been. Sam couldn't process it fast enough to play that game. Hell, any hope at this point in this season is like finding a diamond on the ground. And the people that Cam pisses off by existing is fun to watch. Again, the chance of great football went out the window this offseason, why not have some fun?
