    Some of us are Boomers. We want to win now, or see our team give their best effort. I don’t want to drive halfway across the state to see a team play that is not trying to win. A good GM can build a team without “tanking.”

    If Fitt drafts a quarterback that will be a legitimate NFL starter he will help his case. If he misses he will probably be at Gaston College with Rhule.

    “Trading back” is not always wise. We obviously need to use the #1 pick on a quarterback. If we have a superstar WR or linebacker available at #2 we need to fill those positions. We actually may not know how Good the receivers on the roster are until we have a quarterback that can get them the ball.

    Wherever the Panthers pick I hope Herndon Hooker is there! NC native at that.

    1432 yards passing this year for Hendon Hooker. NO interceptions. This young man is from NC, Dudley H.S. In Greensboro. 10 passing TD’s, 239 consecutive passes without an interception. His father was a quarterback at NC A&T University, school hall of fame. p

    You ever notice the teams that “tank” often “tank” on a regular basis? You give your best effort and often good things happen.

    I hope now we can find out if that was truly Fitt or he was doing what he was told. I honestly believe he may be ok, but we have got to quit trading draft picks.

    I agree with one thing. The NFL is set up to be a .500 league. The differences often are the coaches and GM.

    Honestly…if we win 9 or 10 games I would change very little. It means the current coaches did their job.

    Will there be a quarterback available in this years draft that could develop into a franchise quarterback? At this point is there a consensus on who the #1 is?

    Dak may lose his starting job. He earned it filling in for an injured Tony Romo. Rush filling in for and injured Prescott.

    If the current trend continues fan interest will continue to erode. When and if the Panthers turn the ship around it may take a while to regain fan interest.

    Our defense has been on the field 3 times as long as the offense. That’s the difference. Our offense needs to contribute.
